  We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Food Production Worker to take on a Lead position within our bakery production team. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of our baked and fried goods, while guiding and supporting fellow team members. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and supervise a team of food production workers, overseeing daily operations and ensuring production schedules are met., • Prepare dough daily specifically cannoli shells and chips., • Train new team members on production techniques, equipment operation, and company procedures., • Prepare ingredients and operate various bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, and other production machinery., • Ensure all products are prepared and baked according to established recipes, quality standards, and food safety regulations., • Monitor product quality throughout the production process, identifying and addressing any deviations., • Assist with packaging, labeling, and organizing finished goods for distribution., • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety standards., • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major malfunctions to management., • Coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth flow of production and inventory management., • Promote a positive and productive team atmosphere, fostering collaboration and adherence to best practices. Qualifications: • Proven experience in food production, with a significant portion in a bakery or similar food manufacturing environment., • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a production setting., • Strong understanding of food safety principles (HACCP, GMPs) and hygiene standards., • Ability to operate and maintain a variety of production machinery safely and efficiently., • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills., • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to product quality and consistency., • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment., • High school diploma or equivalent is required; relevant certifications are a plus., • Must possess valid work authorization., • Must be available FULL TIME and able to work 40 hours minimum per week.

Also, time management skills and the ability to prioritize are “musts,” as many projects may be scheduled simultaneously and be in the production stage at the same time.
