Legal Assistant / Paralegal
Growing solo law practice seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Legal Assistant or Paralegal for a long-term position.
The ideal candidate will either have prior law office experience, preferably in a small or solo practice, or a strong interest in the legal field and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities include:

  • Client communication and intake
  • Preparing legal documents and correspondence
  • Managing calendars, deadlines, and case files
  • General office administration
  • Receiving payments and assisting with billing
  • Maintaining organized electronic and paper records
  • Supporting the growth and day-to-day operations of the practice

Qualifications:

  • Prior legal experience is preferred but not required
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Comfortable with technology and office software
  • Immigration law experience is a plus
  • Fluency in Spanish, Arabic, or Greek is an advantage
