This is a broad Senior HR Business Partner role offering the opportunity to act as a trusted adviser to leaders across the business, providing expert support on employee relations, performance management, organisational change and people development. The role combines hands-on operational HR with strategic project work, whilst coaching managers, influencing stakeholders and supporting the delivery of the wider people agenda. \n Client Details \n\n • Our client is a growing and people-focused financial services organisation with a strong reputation in its sector.\n, • The business is committed to developing leadership capability, enhancing employee engagement and continuing to build a high-performing culture.\n, • HR plays a key role in supporting the organisation's strategic objectives, with strong visibility and influence across the wider business.\n\n Description \n\n • Act as a trusted HR partner, providing expert advice and guidance to managers across a broad range of people matters.\n, • Support the delivery of business objectives through effective HR business partnering and practical people solutions.\n, • Lead and manage complex employee relations cases, ensuring commercially focused and legally compliant outcomes.\n, • Coach and develop managers to build confidence and capability in managing performance, engagement and employee issues.\n, • Design and deliver training and development initiatives to strengthen leadership and management capability.\n, • Support organisational change, restructuring activities and wider business transformation projects.\n, • Contribute to the delivery of the HR Business Plan and key people initiatives.\n, • Partner with stakeholders across the business to drive a positive and high-performing culture.\n, • Mentor and support junior members of the HR team, sharing knowledge and best practice.\n, • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.\n, • Utilise HR systems and data to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.\n, • Travel to other business locations as required.\n\n Profile \n\n • CIPD qualified HR professional with a strong generalist HR background.\n, • Proven experience operating in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment, ideally within Financial Services or another regulated sector.\n, • Strong employee relations expertise, with the ability to manage complex and sensitive cases independently.\n, • Demonstrable experience across the full employee life cycle, including recruitment, performance management, talent development and organisational change.\n, • Excellent coaching and influencing skills, with a track record of building management capability and partnering effectively with senior stakeholders.\n, • Commercially minded and pragmatic, able to balance business needs with employee experience and risk management.\n, • Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating effectively within a wider HR team.\n, • Experience mentoring or developing junior HR colleagues.\n, • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practice.\n, • Confident using HR systems and data to support decision-making, with Workday experience highly desirable.\n, • Resilient, proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.\n\n Job Offer \n\n • Competitive salary of £65,000 - £75,000.\n, • Opportunity to join a growing and well-regarded financial services organisation.\n, • Broad Senior HR Business Partner role with a strong mix of strategic and operational responsibility.\n, • Exposure to senior leadership teams and the opportunity to influence key business decisions.\n, • Involvement in organisational change, people strategy and high-impact HR projects.\n, • Collaborative and supportive working environment with a strong people-focused culture.\n, • Opportunity to coach and develop leaders across the business while continuing to build your own career.\n, • Varied role offering autonomy, visibility and the chance to make a tangible impact.\n, • Comprehensive benefits package, including pension, holiday entitlement and other flexible benefits.\n
