This is a contract role, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:15pm, with an extended day on Wednesdays (until 4:15pm). \n Pay Rate: £98.00 per day \n Location: Worcester \n Job Type: Long-Term Temporary \n Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 3:15pm; Wednesday: 8:30am – 4:15pm \n Start Date: 1st September 2026 \n Role Responsibilities\n\n • Support pupils with SEN, ASD, ADHD, SEMH needs and challenging behaviour throughout the school day\n, • Develop and maintain positive relationships to encourage engagement and participation\n, • Assist with classroom activities and individual learning plans\n, • Help pupils with emotional regulation, confidence, and social development\n, • Promote positive behaviour through consistent support and boundaries\n, • Work alongside teachers and wider support teams to tailor support for each pupil\n\n Skills and Experience\n\n • Experience working within a PRU, Alternative Provision, SEMH, or similar environment is essential\n, • Background supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEN, and challenging behaviour\n, • Strong understanding of behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies\n, • Ability to build positive relationships with young people\n, • Calm, patient, consistent approach\n, • Education, SEND, or care-based qualifications desirable; relevant experience essential\n, • Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service or willingness to have one processed\n, • Available for a full-time, long-term role from September 2026\n, • Able to complete compliance checks promptly\n\n \n This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people who need an alternative approach to education.
