The Company \n Our client is at the forefront of the manufacturing and engineering sector. Sustained growth is the reason they have a new requirement for a Quality Inspector. \n The Role \n\n • Will be responsible for goods inwards inspection.\n, • You will ensure compliance to specification.\n, • Controls of non-conformance, retaining records and corrective and preventative actions.\n, • Manage final inspection of product.\n, • Will ensure quality of product in accordance with specification and standards.\n, • Maintaining calibration system.\n, • Assess for conformance to specification.\n, • Speak with customers and suppliers where necessary.\n, • Control of customer returns.\n, • Root cause through using 8D, cause and effect, etc.\n, • Maintenance of documentation.\n\n The Person \n\n • Experience in a similar role with in quality.\n, • Ability to use quality measuring tools/equipment.\n, • Must be organised, accurate and self-motivated.\n, • Engineering or manufacturing experience essential.\n, • Analytical thinking combined with effective communication, influencing and negotiation skills.\n\n The Benefits \n\n • You will be working for a well-established growing employer.\n, • An excellent salary.\n, • A good pension scheme.\n, • The company are fully compliant with the latest health and safety requirements for current safe working practices.\n
