Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Workshop-Based Mobile Plant Fitter on behalf of our client based in Essex on a Permanent basis. Roles & Responsibilities\n\n • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults on a wide range of plant machinery.\n, • Carry out routine servicing, preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.\n, • Complete Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and PAT testing where required.\n, • Attend customer sites across Essex and the surrounding counties to carry out repairs and servicing.\n, • Use computer diagnostic equipment to identify faults and complete repairs efficiently.\n, • Maintain accurate service reports and maintenance records.\n, • Ensure all work is carried out in line with manufacturer guidelines and company procedures.\n, • Inspect equipment to ensure it is safe, fully operational and ready for use.\n, • Follow all Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.\n, • Work effectively within the workshop team and independently whilst on-site.\nAdditional Responsibilities\n\n, • Work on a variety of leading plant machinery brands including JCB, Komatsu, Bomag, Thwaites, Hamm, Powerscreen, John Deere and Bell.\n, • Maintain and repair equipment including excavators, dumpers, crushers, screeners, wheeled loaders, generators, water pumps, hydraulic attachments, compaction equipment and lifting equipment.\n, • Carry out both workshop-based and mobile service work as business requirements dictate.\n, • Assist with maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.\nExperience, Skills & Qualifications\n\n, • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Mobile Plant Fitter, Plant Engineer or similar.\n, • Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding experience.\n, • Competent using computer diagnostic equipment.\n, • Experience servicing and repairing heavy plant machinery.\n, • Full clean UK Driving Licence.\n, • Own tools are essential.\n, • Excellent attention to detail with accurate record keeping.\n, • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.\n, • Reliable, self-motivated and able to work effectively as part of a team.\n, • Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements within a workshop and site environment.\nWorking Pattern & Benefits\n Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm \n Salary: £35,000 - £39,000 per annum (dependent on experience) \n Benefits: \n\n • Modern, fully equipped workshop.\n, • Overhead gantry crane and excellent workshop facilities.\n, • Varied role combining workshop and field-based work.\n, • Stable, long-term opportunity with a growing business.\n, • On-site parking.\n, • Immediate start available.\n\n Market 36 Recruitment Ltd cover a range of sectors including Commercial, Industrial, Engineering, HR & Finance & ITAD.
