Property Housekeeper & Operations Assistant Full-time, 5 days per week including weekends The Upgrade Authority is a growing property management company in Bristol, managing short-term and mid-term rental properties to a high standard. We are looking for a reliable, detail-focused person to join our operations team. This is a hands-on role where most of your time will be spent preparing properties for guests, carrying out cleans, checking standards, reporting issues, and helping keep our properties running smoothly. This job would suit someone with cleaning, housekeeping, hospitality, or property experience who wants more responsibility and the chance to grow into a wider operations role. What you’ll be doing You will be preparing properties to a high standard before guest arrivals, including cleaning, resetting rooms, checking presentation, and adding finishing touches. You will also carry out property inspections, report maintenance issues, complete digital checklists, support with light maintenance tasks, and help the team respond to operational issues when needed. The role also includes some guest support, such as replying to messages or making occasional calls, so strong spoken and written English is essential. You will need to be comfortable using apps, checklists, and digital systems to manage tasks and keep the team updated. Out-of-hours support This role includes participation in a shared out-of-hours rota. Where out-of-hours work causes meaningful disruption or additional working time, recovery time is given back through time off in lieu. What we’re looking for We’re looking for someone who takes pride in doing things properly. You should be reliable, organised, practical, and comfortable working independently. You must have strong spoken and written English, as the role involves guest communication, reporting issues clearly, and following digital processes. Previous cleaning, housekeeping, hotel, serviced accommodation, Airbnb, or property experience would be ideal. You must have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, as the role involves travelling between properties across Bristol. Weekend availability is required, with weekday time off given as part of the rota. Working pattern This is a full-time role, 5 days per week, including weekends. Typical working hours are 09:00 to 17:00, although some flexibility is required depending on bookings, guest needs, and operational requirements. The role is mainly property-based across Bristol, with some remote admin and task management.
