You will not be joining an established function but shaping it.What's on Offer A £30m+ live programme encompassing kitchens and bathrooms (circa £9m), windows and doors, cyclical decorations and flooring, heating replacements, decarbonisation and energy efficiency, roofing, building safety works, plus commercial support for a newly procured repairs contractReal scope to shape procurement strategy, embed commercial governance, and influence business planning and cost modellingOpportunity to identify and develop commercial training needs across the investment management teamPotential to grow a commercial team, with early-stage plans to recruit a graduate Quantity SurveyorHybrid working within a supportive and newly formed team environmentWhat We're Looking For Degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor (QS) with significant experience at Senior QS level or aboveStrong working knowledge of JCT and NEC contract formsProven track record in planned works or framework contract managementExperience in social housing, local authority, or a regulated environment is advantageousCommercially astute, with the confidence to challenge contractor applications and drive value for money across a complex, multi-workstream programmeFirst 90 Days Objectives Review contracts and identify risksEmbed change control processesValidate cashflow forecastsEstablish and maintain a commercial risk logThis role is ideal for someone who is eager to make an immediate impact and establish strong commercial foundations quickly.Please apply directly or contact us via direct message to discuss this opportunity in confidence.
