Responsibilities • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with restaurant standards and recipes, • Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed, • Manage food production processes, ensuring efficiency and consistency in dish presentation, • Oversee food safety practices, maintaining hygiene standards throughout the kitchen, • Assist in menu planning and development, contributing innovative ideas for seasonal offerings, • Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery, • Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to minimise waste, • Maintain a clean and organised work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations, • Lead by example in maintaining professionalism, teamwork, and a positive work atmosphere Skills • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within a busy hospitality setting, • Strong supervisory and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff, • Extensive culinary knowledge across various cuisines and techniques, • Excellent understanding of food safety standards and hygiene regulations, • Leadership qualities with the ability to oversee kitchen activities efficiently, • Experience in restaurant or hospitality environments demonstrating adaptability under pressure, • Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and front-of-house staff, • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service through outstanding food quality This role offers an engaging environment for culinary professionals committed to excellence.
