Bar Operations Manager Location: West London Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7, including weekends Set in the heart of the local community, our club hosts a diverse calendar of events, from seasonal sporting fixtures and community gatherings to private hire events including weddings, corporate functions and filming opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity for a Bar manager to take ownership of all bar and beverage operations and play a key role in the continued success of a vibrant and growing venue. This is a hands-on operational role that requires a strong presence on the floor as well as excellent administrative and commercial management skills. Key responsibilities include: Managing the day-to-day operation of all clubhouse bars and beverage services Preparing staff rotas and ensuring effective labour management Stock control, ordering and supplier management Monitoring wastage and implementing cost control measures Managing beverage P&L and driving profitability Ensuring exceptional customer service standards across all events and operations Supporting and overseeing seasonal sporting events and private hire functions Maintaining all beverage administration and operational procedures Ensuring full compliance with licensing legislation and food and beverage regulations Supporting the General Manager in delivering operational excellence across the club About You The successful candidate will: Have previous experience in a Bar Operations Manager or senior beverage management role Be a personal licence holder Have a strong understanding of licensing laws and food and beverage compliance Possess excellent stock management and commercial acumen Be highly organised with strong administrative and rota management skills Have experience managing suppliers and controlling costs Be a hands-on leader who enjoys working as part of a team and leading from the front Be flexible and able to work evenings, weekends and during busy seasonal periods Kellan Group (including all of our brands, Berkeley Scott and Xpress Recruitment) are committed to promoting equal opportunities to people regardless of age, gender, religion, belief, race, sexuality or disability.
