The role supports the Food & Beverage management team in achieving sales and profitability targets while leading, motivating, and developing the team to deliver an outstanding guest experience in line with hotel brand standards. Duties and Responsibilities Supervise the daily operations of the Hotel Bar, Starbucks, and Lounge, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Deliver and maintain exceptional customer service, promptly resolving guest enquiries and complaints. Lead, motivate, and support the team to achieve departmental objectives and maintain high service standards. Promote sales initiatives and encourage upselling of food, beverages, and hotel services to maximise revenue. Monitor stock levels, oversee stock rotation, minimise waste, and assist with ordering to maintain appropriate inventory levels. Ensure accurate cash handling, billing, and end-of-shift reconciliation procedures are followed. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene throughout all outlets. Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety, licensing regulations, and hotel policies and procedures. Conduct daily team briefings and ensure colleagues are knowledgeable about menus, promotions, and operational procedures. Train, coach, and develop team members, identifying training needs and supporting performance improvement. Monitor labour productivity and assist in controlling departmental costs and achieving profitability targets. Report maintenance issues promptly and ensure equipment is maintained in good working order. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of team members as required. Collaborate effectively with the kitchen and other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service. Act as the department lead in the absence of the Bar or Food & Beverage Manager, ensuring operational standards are maintained. Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the Food & Beverage Management team to support the hotel's operational requirements.
