This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant or experienced accounts professional looking to broaden their responsibilities and develop their career within a fast-paced and supportive business environment. Your new role • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances, • Support month-end and year-end processes, • Maintain the fixed asset register and accruals/prepayments schedules, • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, • Reconcile bank accounts, • Maintain both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, • Prepare VAT returns and other statutory submissions, • Produce financial analysis and reports for management, • Assist with process improvements and finance projects What you'll need to succeed ? • AAT qualified, qualified by experience or studying ACCA/CIMA/ACA, • Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar finance position, • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with accounting systems, • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, • Capable of managing workloads and meeting deadlines
