It's our people who drive our business forward, and we offer them future-focused career opportunities whilst supporting individual specialisms. \n Our regional offices of over 3000 colleagues operate in collaboratively, combining collective expertise to maximise potential. \n \n About the Role: \n We are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing team in Folkestone, in this role you will be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping activities, producing management reports, and supporting clients with accurate, insightful financial information. You will play a key role in delivering outstanding service and helping our clients thrive. \n \n Key Responsibilities: \n\n • Complete day-to-day bookkeeping tasks accurately, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.\n, • Prepare bookkeeping records through to Trial Balance, including entering opening and closing balances for adjusted trial balances and supporting the year-end process.\n, • Calculate and post year-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and other necessary adjustments.\n, • Maintain a complete and accurate audit trail by filing and referencing documentation promptly.\n, • Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and in line with statutory deadlines.\n, • Perform regular bank and balance sheet reconciliations.\n, • Produce management reports to help clients understand their financial performance and position.\n, • Build and maintain positive client relationships, providing professional and responsive support.\n, • Use accounting software, including Xero and Microsoft Excel, to improve efficiency and ensure accurate financial reporting.\n, • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal procedures.\n, • Manage workloads effectively to meet deadlines and agreed time budgets.\n\n \n Key Requirements: \n\n • AAT/ ACCA (part) qualified\n, • Use software such as Xero and Excel to streamline processes and ensure accurate reporting.\n\n \n Additional Requirements: \n\n • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.\n, • Team oriented, collaborative, and client-focused with a commitment to continuous personal development.\n, • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.\n, • Carrying out tasks with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy.\n\n \n What We Offer: \n Joining our team comes with a range of benefits, including: \n\n • A people-focused, modern firm with a collaborative culture.\n, • Competitive salary and benefits package.\n, • Genuine opportunities for professional development and progression.\n, • The chance to be part of a Top 20 UK accountancy practice that values innovation and local expertise.\n\n \n Join Our Vision: \n At Xeinadin, we invest in our people.
