Practice Nurse/Research Nurse - Hinckley £20-£25 per hour | Part Time (2-4 days per week) | Free On-Site Parking A well-established and supportive GP surgery in Hinckley is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join its dedicated clinical team. About the Practice This is a four-partner GP practice based in purpose-built premises in Burbage, providing care for approximately 13,000 patients. The practice also operates a part-time branch surgery in the village of Wolvey. The clinical team comprises: • 4 GP Partners, • 3 Salaried GPs, • 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner, • 1 Nurse Practitioner, • 2 Practice Nurses, • 1 Healthcare Assistant, • 1 Student Nurse Associate, • 2 Clinical Pharmacists This is an excellent opportunity for a Practice Nurse with clinical research experience who is looking for a varied and rewarding role. What's on Offer • Competitive hourly rate of £20-£25, depending on experience, • NHS Pension, • Flexible part-time working pattern of 2-4 days per week, • 5 weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays, • Free on-site parking, • Protected administrative time, • Supportive, experienced, and welcoming team environment Key Responsibilities Working autonomously within the nursing team, you will deliver high-quality patient care across a range of services, including: • Cervical screening, • Child immunisations, • Adult and travel vaccinations, • Wound care, • Long-term condition management and reviews For candidates with research experience, responsibilities may also include supporting and delivering clinical research activity in line with regulatory and governance requirements. About You • Qualified and experienced Practice Nurse, • Clinical research experience is desirable, • Knowledge of ICH E6(R3) updates and ISO 14155, • Familiarity with MHRA and HRA regulatory requirements, • Confident delivering the clinical services listed above, • Strong written and verbal communication skills, • Proactive, reliable, and able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team This surgery takes pride in delivering accessible, high-quality healthcare while fostering a positive and collaborative working culture.
