Works Manager – Offshore Subsea Cable Installation (Le Tréport Cables Project) Location: Le Tréport, France (within 12 nautical miles), European Waters (EU) Contract: 27 July 2026 – 3 November 2026 (including travel dates) Rotation: 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts (84 hours per week) Accommodation: Onboard Vessel (Walk-to-Work) Vessel: Aquarius G (NL) Position Available: 1 The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Works Manager to support the Le Tréport Cables project, overseeing offshore barge operations for the Rock Bag installation scope. This is an excellent opportunity to join a major offshore subsea cable installation project, taking responsibility for the safe, efficient, and successful execution of offshore works. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will lead the operational execution of the works on site, supported by a team of Site Superintendents and Project Engineers. While Superintendents oversee day-to-day activities, you will focus on the overall planning, coordination, and delivery of the project. Key Responsibilities • Provide offshore installation and works management across the Rock Bag installation spread., • Act as the single point of accountability for HSE, personnel on board (POB), and emergency response., • Organise and manage the planning and execution of offshore works., • Optimise and oversee the delivery of subsea cable installation activities., • Ensure project activities are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget., • Manage QHSE-S standards throughout project execution., • Coordinate operational teams, working closely with Site Superintendents and Project Engineers., • Build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external clients., • Contribute to the efficient delivery of all project activities while resolving operational challenges as they arise. Requirements Technical Experience • Minimum 3 years' experience on complex offshore engineering projects., • Strong project management and planning skills., • Extensive experience working in high-safety offshore environments., • Experience managing offshore subsea cable installation projects is highly desirable. Personal Attributes • Strong communication and leadership skills., • Able to take a critical and proactive approach to project execution., • Comfortable leading multidisciplinary teams in the field., • Able to work autonomously with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset. Education & Certifications • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (preferably Construction Engineering) or equivalent experience., • Offshore Medical Certificate., • Chester Step certification., • STCW Basic Safety Training., • BOSIET certification (or equivalent such as STCW or FOET). Languages • Fluent English (written and spoken) is essential., • Dutch is highly preferred and considered a strong asset., • Additional languages are advantageous. Working Arrangement • Project location: Le Tréport, France (within 12 nautical miles)., • Accommodation provided onboard the Aquarius G (Walk-to-Work vessel)., • Rotation schedule of 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off., • 12-hour working shifts throughout the rotation.
