Quality Control Manager Location: France Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager to support laboratory quality activities and ensure that raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products meet established quality standards. This is a hands-on role focused on analytical testing, documentation review, deviation management, and compliance with GMP and internal quality procedures. The successful candidate will work closely with Quality Assurance, Production, and other cross-functional teams to maintain product quality and support continuous improvement initiatives. This position does not include direct team leadership responsibilities. Key Responsibilities • Perform and/or coordinate routine quality control activities for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products., • Review analytical data, laboratory records, certificates of analysis, and batch-related documentation for accuracy and compliance., • Ensure testing activities are carried out in accordance with GMP, SOPs, specifications, and applicable regulatory requirements., • Support investigations related to out-of-specification (OOS) results, deviations, non-conformances, and laboratory incidents., • Contribute to CAPA, change control, and continuous improvement activities within the Quality Control function., • Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and ensure compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)., • Support internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections by providing QC documentation and technical input., • Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality-related issues., • Assist with method verification, equipment qualification activities, and implementation of new laboratory procedures where required. Candidate Profile • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field., • 2–4 years of experience in a Quality Control role within a GMP-regulated environment., • Hands-on experience with analytical testing techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, dissolution testing, microbiological testing, or similar methods., • Good understanding of GMP, laboratory documentation requirements, and quality management systems., • Experience supporting investigations, deviations, CAPA, and change control activities is advantageous., • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and a structured approach to problem solving., • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams., • Fluent French required, both written and spoken.
