Context of the Position As part of our strategic international expansion, JD Logistics is establishing its core infrastructure within the Spanish market. This is a greenfield deployment phase, requiring the founding leadership team to manage high operational fluidity, establish local processes from the ground up, and translate centralized global capabilities into localized execution. Mission & Scope • Establish, audit, and enforce the full Health & Safety (PRL) framework for the new Madrid operations, ensuring 100 % legal compliance with Spanish labor laws prior to day‐one employee onboarding and throughout the site's scale‐up., • Take absolute ownership of risk assessment, accident prevention, security protocols, and regulatory reporting for the Madrid sites, working closely with local facility management and the global risk compliance team. Crucial Expectations & Performance Targets • Pre‐Launch Safety Validation: Successfully design, implement, and certify all Prevención de Riesgos Laborales (PRL) protocols, evacuation plans, and safety signage across the Madrid network prior to operational go‐live., • Regulatory Compliance & Certification: Ensure zero critical non‐compliance findings or legal breaches from local Spanish authorities (Inspección de Trabajo) and external prevention services (Servicio de Prevención Ajena)., • Culture of Prevention: Build and execute comprehensive safety onboarding and continuous training programs for all incoming managers, supervisors, and high‐volume warehouse operators., • Incident & Risk Architecture: Design robust, real‐time emergency response mechanisms, cargo asset protection workflows, and incident reporting channels that align local regulatory requirements with corporate headquarters standards. Position Requirements • Greenfield Launch Expertise: Demonstrated background of successfully managing or supporting health, safety, and risk compliance for a high‐volume warehouse, fulfillment center, or industrial site launch in Spain., • Regulatory Qualifications: Must possess the official Spanish Técnico Superior en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales (PRL) certification with all three specialties (Work Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Ergonomics/Psychosociología)., • Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory for technical local compliance and direct international corporate reporting. Knowledge of Mandarin is a strong advantage., • Operational Agility: Ability to balance rigid regulatory enforcement with the business agility required to support a fast‐moving, high‐volume e‐commerce infrastructure deployment.
