This position is based in Aiguaviva (Girona – Spain) /ppHis or her main role will be: /pulliAssessing innovative RD developments and Digital solutions in close collaboration with technical and scientific staff and business units, providing IP advisory counsel /liliPreparation of patent landscape and FTO analysis for EU and global RD pipeline /liliPerforming state-of-the-art and patentability search reports /liliMaintenance of internal IP and corresponding databases /liliGlobal Prosecution of Patent rights /liliParticipating in and dealing with drafting oppositions/appeal proceedings and observations before the EPO /liliProviding valid opinions and infringement advice to the relevant RD and business units /liliEstablishing confidentiality actions to ensure the maintenance of IP /liliTechnical support for business development /li /ulh3Requirements for the candidates /h3ullibEQE (European Qualifying Examination) fully or partly passed. (mandatory) /b /lilibSolid industrial background /b like bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related disciplines including electronic engineering, software engineering, artificial intelligence and so on /lilibMinimum of 5 years of experience in the industry /b, preferably in pharmaceutical or/and biotechnology industries, drafting and prosecuting patent applications, as well as in searching for and preparing reports on patentability and FTO (Freedom to Operate) opinions, /lilibExperience in medical devices or industrial products would be appreciated /b /lilibExcellent command in English and Spanish.
