ph3Role Summary /h3 pThe CE Market Leader for Data Centres is a senior strategic role responsible for driving growth, shaping commercial strategy, and ensuring excellence in delivery for major Data Centre projects across WSP’s Central Europe region. The position serves as the regional focal point for the Data Centres market, aligning countries under a unified go‑to‑market approach, strengthening commercial discipline, fostering client excellence, and ensuring high‑quality project delivery. This leader will be instrumental in expanding WSP’s market share, influencing key decisions within the CE ExCom, and supporting long‑term strategic positioning with both new and existing clients. /p h3Position Summary /h3 pWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Market (Data Centers) Director to join our team in Central Europe Region. Reporting to CE Client Director, the CE DC Director will oversee strategic growth, commercial strategy and delivery model for DC major Data Center projects across the Region. /p h3Position Location /h3 pThe role may be based in any of our major CE region locations Poland, Germany, Netherlands, France, Italy or Spain. /p h3Growth /h3 ul liAnalyze market conditions, competition, and emerging opportunities to create actionable growth strategies. /li liFoster a culture of innovation and collaboration to drive growth initiatives forward including new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams to increase company profitability. /li liWork closely with country market leaders to create go‑to‑market strategies. /li liContinuously monitor the competitive landscape, customer behaviors, and industry trends, while using data analytics to inform decisions and adjust strategies based on performance metrics. /li liProviding thought leadership input into WSP CE Excom to support CE WSP’s strategic plan and direction. /li liActively represent Data Center clients within the CE Regional Client Program. /li /ul h3Commercial /h3 ul liPartner with legal and financial teams to safeguard commercial agreements and activities, ensuring robust legal and financial protection. /li liInnovate and maintain standard Terms and Conditions for commercial agreements and other legal documents, ensuring the company retains a competitive edge. /li liRegular collaboration with the countries’ operations teams to fine‑tune the commercial sensitivity of each proposal in response to the current operational status. /li liImplement and monitor the internal procedures to run an operation fully compliant with the WSP DoA. /li liCollaborate with the Managing Directors and Business Line Heads to set and achieve strategic goals for commercial operations, managing key metrics like Sales, Hard Backlog, Soft Backlog, Net Revenue, Operating Margins, .... /li liEnhance commercial rigor in pricing and budgeting for major projects by collaborating with country Business Line Heads, while leading the preparation and review of commercial submissions for proposals, ensuring timely and coordinated input from stakeholders. /li liAnalyze the performance of the project portfolio, develop strategies for support and intervention, report findings to leadership, and assist the business in positioning for and securing major strategic bids. /li liLead risks management strategies, engaging directly with clients and ensuring comprehensive handover briefings to inform project teams. /li /ul h3Delivery /h3 ul liPartner and regular collaboration with the country operations and GCC to define the optimal delivery model for each major project prioritizing regional interest. /li liEnhance technical rigor by working with country Business Line Heads and leading quality assurance of major project submissions. /li /ul h3Business Intelligence and Reporting /h3 ul liOwns and manages data performance related to commercial activities, utilizing key metrics such as Sales, Hard Backlog, Soft Backlog, Net Revenue, Operating Margins, ... to inform strategic decisions. /li liDemonstrates the ability to analyze current data for the CE Excom and synthesize data for comprehensive global analysis. /li liExperienced in CRM management and client database handling, with familiarity in relevant tools. /li liLead the Data Centres CE pipeline track. /li liReport the operations KPI’s and pipeline to the Regional Client team. /li /ul h3WHAT IF IT WAS YOU? /h3 ul liArchitect or engineering degree. An MBA or other advanced business degree would be highly valued. /li liEnglish (C1 level).
