ppbbJob Description: /b /b /ppThe job holder will be part of MAP Structure Cargo – TADAX1, within the Stress team. /ppMAP Structure Cargo is composed of a multidisciplinary, cross-functional and international team of highly skilled and motivated engineers involved on the complete Aircraft /ppIts mission is developed at the intersection of the Program, Industrial and Engineering domains, acting as a principal actor during the FAL Build Process, Ground Testing, Flight Testing and Delivery Process /ppIn this position you will have a unique opportunity to be as close as possible to the physical Aircraft and deeply involved trough the complete Aircraft´s design, build, test process, Aircraft operations and Delivery to the Customers. /ppThis role requires the ability to adapt to MAP environment and to develop strong links with all Engineering, DTO, FAL, Flight Tests, Flight Line, Flight Crews, Quality, Delivery and Production teams. /ppAdditionally in recent years the MAP has been developing skills in Specific Design Workpackage like the Firefighter and other specific additional Capabilities where you will be a key actor. /ppAs a stress member you will have the unique opportunity to be involved in different projects from the Specific Design Workpackage to supporting Production Flight Test activities /ppbMAP Structures Cargo mains tasks: /b /ppMAP Structures Cargo in FAL A400M Sevilla is responsible in front of manufacturing organization to: /pulliProvide Engineering support and expertise to manufacturing organization involved in FAL Sevilla. /liliProvide engineering disposition to Concession and DQN (Where we are competent including Partners Subcontractor). /liliIssue Special Instructions to cover temporary design solutions or Configuration Changes. /liliProvide engineering statement on Technical/Quality logbook. /liliDevelop certify new Aircraft Capabilities for Specific Design Workpackage /li /ulpbWithin MAP Structures Cargo Stress team, the job holder: /b /ppiuSupport to Specific Design Workpackage /u /i /pulliStress analysis and validation of metallic, composite hybrid structures, using Airbus Defence Space methods, to assess design solutions for a whole range of tasks, potentially from concept and structural development to certification and in-service maintenance . /liliStatic sizing and detailed analysis of the structural components, parts and assemblies, as well as integration of systems and equipment. /liliAnalysis and validation at component level for static strength producing relevant strength margins or reserve factors according to validated and applicable Airbus methods sizing processes. /liliStress analysis by means of FEM techniques (preparation, validation and assessment of results) and application of traditional stress justification methods and tools. /liliDefinition and establishment of the certification/qualification stress documents. /liliStructural test definition, support and analysis of the tests /li /ulpiuSupport to Production Flight Test /u /i /pulliEnsure safe operations of the Product with respect to structural integrity and operational effectiveness, /liliLiaise with and support stakeholders such as Final Assembly Line, Flight Line, Delivery Centre, Flight Test Centre, Design Office, Chief Engineers, Airworthiness Authorities and other MAP offices for daily business and for improvement projects, /liliDefine and deliver technical solutions in support of build, test and delivery of aircraft on Non-Conformities, /liliInvolved in StaticFDT justifications on composite metallic structures for NCN, concessions Special Instructions following deviation from the definition need of A/C Configuration change within Flight Test Campaign /liliDevelop towards getting CoC delegations and autonomy on the complete A/C. /liliBe part of various projects (NCs Eradication, CSDM, digital tools,...) in close relation within projects teams and stakeholders so as to continuously improve our efficiency, hence our financial and operational performances. /liliOpportunities to get more familiar with Flight Tests activities and the creation of Special Instructions (SIs), /li /ulpbRequested skills: /b /pulliUniversity Aeronautical Engineering Degree or equivalent /lili5+ years’ experience in Structural analysis of airframe components, metallic composite structures. /liliKnowledge of structural analysis in general and design details of airframe including tools. /liliKnowledge of Airbus Tools Methods (ISAMI, ISAMI Xpress, SRM) /liliAbility to understand and perform static calculation within metallic composites structure according to Airbus methods and sizing processes, including FEM techniques. /liliAbility to provide stress analyses for the repair/acceptance of metallic composite damaged structures. /liliAbility to understand and integrate technologies in the domain of metallic composite materials /liliFluent English language, Good level of Spanish required /liliGood autonomous decision making based on technical experience is essential for this role. /liliStrong team working skills and a proven ability to work in a multicultural
