ph3An Overview of this role /h3pThis role is a Staff Marketing Campaigns Manager at GitLab, responsible for shaping how global campaigns are planned, run, and measured for upsell and expansion initiatives. The position partners closely with Product, Growth, Sales, and Marketing leadership to set strategic and operational standards for the Global Campaigns function. /ph3What you'll do /h3ulliHelp define the next operating model for GitLab's Global Campaigns function, including strategy setting, program scoping, resourcing, performance measurement, and collaboration with Product, Growth, and Regional Campaigns across geographies. /liliBuild frameworks, playbooks, and measurement models for the broader campaigns organization to plan and execute at scale, moving toward a repeatable system for global reach. /liliOwn the strategic direction for GitLab's global upsell and expansion campaign portfolio, using it to demonstrate the evolved operating model. /liliPartner with Product Growth, Product Marketing, Sales, and Revenue leadership to shape expansion strategy upstream, influencing packaging, pricing motions, and go‑to‑market sequencing. /liliCollaborate with Regional Campaigns, Localization, and international GTM leaders to ensure global campaigns are designed for regional activation with adaptability for AMER, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM markets. /liliLead high‑visibility integrated campaigns that span multiple product tiers, audiences, and geographies, including new motions where goals and success criteria are still being defined. /liliOwn analytics, experimentation, and budget strategy for expansion campaigns, overseeing attribution, incrementality testing, funnel diagnostics, and investment decisions to maximize return. /liliSet the bar for technical and strategic quality across the team, mentoring Senior and Lead campaign managers and raising overall capability. /liliRepresent Global Campaigns in executive forums, translating performance into clear business narratives and aligning leaders on expansion priorities across regions. /li /ulh3What you'll bring /h3ulliDeep B2B SaaS marketing experience with a record of leading integrated campaign strategy for product‑led growth, customer expansion, or upsell motions. /liliDirect experience evolving a marketing function's operating model and shaping how a team plans, executes, and measures its work. /liliExperience operating globally, building or scaling campaigns across multiple regions and partnering with regional GTM teams. /liliProven ability to lead ambiguous, multi‑quarter initiatives end to end, from opportunity identification through execution, measurement, and iteration. /liliInfluence over Product, Growth, Sales, and Marketing leaders at VP and C‑level, shaping decisions beyond direct ownership. /liliStrong analytical depth combined with budget ownership, including hands‑on use of attribution modeling, incrementality testing, cohort analysis, and funnel diagnostics. /liliTechnical fluency with developer, DevOps, or platform engineering audiences, translating technical value into resonant campaign strategy. /liliExperience setting standards for a marketing function, mentoring senior contributors, and raising the bar on strategic quality. /liliFluency with modern marketing automation, CRM, and analytics stacks such as Marketo, Iterable, and Salesforce, applied to measurement and experimentation. /liliExperience in DevOps, developer tools, or open source ecosystems (preferred). /liliBackground spanning product marketing, growth, and lifecycle marketing (preferred). /liliKey contributions to prior teams that strengthened their campaigns function operations (preferred). /li /ulh3Benefits /h3ulliFlexible Paid Time Off /liliTeam Member Resource Groups /liliEquity Compensation – Employee Stock Purchase Plan /liliGrowth and Development Fund /liliParental Leave /li /ulh3Salary /h3pUnited States Salary Range: $139,200 – $235,200 USD (base salary only, bonus, equity, and benefits not included). /ph3Equal Opportunity /h3pGitLab is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
