ph3Data Analyst - FCC Reporting /h3 pLocation: Málaga or Madrid (Spain) - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week /p pEbury’s strategic growth plan would not be possible without our bData Analytics Compliance team /b and we are seeking a bData Analyst /b to join our Regulatory FinCrime Compliance domain! /p pOur data mission is to enable effective risk detection, monitoring and regulatory compliance through robust data models, scalable analytics and high quality reporting. /p pThe team works closely with Compliance, Risk and Product to design and implement data-driven controls, detection mechanisms, and investigative tools across multiple jurisdictions. /p pProjects range from building curated data models to cover global key risk indicators for financial crime compliance and automating into standardised board packs, to scaling our regulatory reporting engine to incorporate datasets specific to transaction monitoring, screening and client KYC. /p h3As part of the team you will /h3 ul liDesign and maintain bdata models and datasets /b used for transaction monitoring, customer risk scoring, and financial crime investigations. /li liOwn end-to-end delivery of bFinCrime analytics solutions /b: requirements gathering, data extraction, transformation, validation, and deployment. /li liDevelop and optimise bdetection logic and monitoring rules /b (e.g. transaction monitoring scenarios, anomaly detection, behavioural patterns). /li liPerform bdata quality checks and controls /b to ensure completeness, accuracy, and auditability of FinCrime datasets. /li liBuild bdashboards and analytical tools /b (Looker / Looker Studio or similar) for monitoring risk exposure, alerts, and investigation pipelines. /li liSupport bregulatory and internal audits /b, providing traceability of data, methodologies, and controls. /li liContribute to the bautomation and continuous improvement /b of FinCrime processes (screening, monitoring, alert handling). /li /ul h3What we’re looking for /h3 ul li2-5 years Experience in Data/Business Analytics – preferably within FinCrime, Compliance, Risk, or Financial Services. /li liAdvanced bSQL /b skills – able to read and write queries across complex datasets. /li liExperience with our modern bdata stack tools /b is a plus: dbt,Google Cloud BigQuery, Looker / Looker Studio, Git. /li liExperience building bdata pipelines, transformations, and analytical datasets /b. /li liSolid understanding of bfinancial crime frameworks /b. /li liExperience working with bPython /b is desirable. /li liKnowledge of bpayment flows, FX, or banking products /b is desirable. /li liStrong analytical thinking with focus on bdata quality, controls, and risk interpretation /b. /li liExperience working with btransaction monitoring systems or alerting frameworks /b is a plus. /li liAbility to translate bregulatory and compliance requirements into data logic /b. /li liFluency in English (Spanish, a plus) /li /ul h3What Ebury offers you /h3 ul liCompetitive salary conditions /li liPrivate health insurance, gympass and access to Meditopia /li liSupport to progress your career in the Data Analytics world /li liWork in a collaborative environment and contribute to a new data infrastructure built on a modern data stack /li liFlexible workplace environment (hybrid model, 4 days office / 1 day remote) /li li23 days of annual leave plus your birthday off and all the Málaga public holidays. /li liFun in-person off-sites and virtual get-togethers /li /ul h3About us /h3 pEbury delivers sophisticated, integrated solutions — business accounts, hedging, and financing — on a single platform with a seamless workflow.
