Experteer Overview As Legacy Systems Migration Developer, you will lead and support the migration of Microsoft Access front-ends to modern enterprise platforms, ensuring data integrity and operational continuity. You collaborate with development, IT, and product teams to deliver scalable solutions, and you’ll assist users during transitions with documentation and training. The role combines hands-on development with migration planning to minimize business impact and enable future-ready workflows. This is a crossroads role for data, systems, and people, with a strong impact on operations and learning culture. Compensaciones / Beneficios • Create, develop, manage, and maintain applications • Define specifications for new apps with Product Manager, Data Services, and Infrastructure teams • Write high-quality source code and implement full applications • Develop functional and non-functional tests for Enterprise apps • Analyze and document current Access front-end forms, queries, VBA logic for migration planning • Update and troubleshoot legacy SSIS packages to support ETL for migration • Develop data validation, reconciliation, and QA procedures for migrated data • Collaborate with stakeholders to re-engineer Access workflows into .NET/web-based solutions • Provide end-user support, documentation, training materials, and hands-on assistance during decommissioning Responsabilidades • 5+ years of experience with Access applications • Proficiency in .NET development • VB, VBA, C# programming • Strong SQL and relational databases (T-SQL, SSIS) • Hand-on Access front-end development (forms, queries, macros, VBA) • Experience updating legacy SSIS packages and adapting workflows • Experience with database migration projects, including schema mapping and data transformation • Knowledge of data quality techniques and validation testing • Ability to document technical specs, migration runbooks, and end-user guides • Experience with SQL Server Agent for automated ETL/migration tasks • Familiarity with Git and deployment practices for database/ETL code • Experience migrating SSIS packages to cloud platforms like Azure Data Factory (ADF) is a plus • Willingness to work weekends (2-4 days/month through Nov 2026) Requisitos principales •
