ph3About the role /h3 pWe are creating a new Product Manager position to strengthen GRAM's team as part of our ongoing effort to elevate the company's structure and keep growing and innovating in the industrial weighing sector. /p pThis person will take full ownership of our product portfolio and act as the connection point between RD, Marketing, Sales, and Operations. It is a central role that needs dedicated focus, and one of the key additions we are making to the team at this stage of the company. /p pIt is also a role we are deliberately designing as AI-first. GRAM is becoming an AI-first manufacturer in a sector that has barely moved in decades, and this position sits at the centre of that. AI is not a side project here or a tool someone uses occasionally. It is the default starting point for how we work, and we expect whoever takes this role to work the same way. /p h3About our products /h3 pGRAM manufactures industrial weighing instruments. Our products combine a significant mechanical component, integrated electronics, and embedded software, all designed for industrial environments. We reach our customers through both direct online sales via our e-commerce platform and through a network of distributors across multiple countries. /p pThis is not a software product role, and we are not looking for someone from that background. If your experience is in SaaS, Agile ceremonies, and user story mapping, you will probably find our world unfamiliar. What we need is someone who understands how industrial products are designed, manufactured, documented, and sold, and who can speak credibly with engineers as well as with commercial teams. /p h3Tasks /h3 h3What you will do /h3 pYou will own our products end to end. Concretely, that means: /p pbNew product launches. /b You will run the launch of new products as an end to end project, coordinating everything that needs to happen across departments: the product catalogue, technical manuals, translations into all the languages we sell in, publication on our websites, launch newsletter, entry in the price list, packaging definition, sales team training, and product setup in our ERP. When we launch, you are the person responsible for making sure it all lands correctly. /p pbProduct updates and new features. /b When RD adds a new feature to an existing product or releases an improved version, you translate that into what each department needs: the updated materials for marketing, the talking points and training for the sales team, the specification updates for operations, and the revised content for our web presence. /p pbOngoing product ownership. /b You will make sure every product in our catalogue has up to date, accurate, and relevant information across all our channels. Manuals, specifications, images, web content, technical documentation. The experience that any customer or distributor has when looking up our products online should be consistent, current, and useful. /p pbBringing the market back to RD. /b You will collect and synthesise feedback from sales teams, distributors, and customers, and bring that voice into our RD discussions. Our product direction should be shaped by what the market actually needs, and you are the person who makes sure that signal reaches the people who build the products. /p pbSales team training. /b You will train our commercial teams on new products, new features, and the technical detail they need to sell well. You are the technical reference point they turn to when they need to understand how something works. /p pbWorking AI-first. /b You will use AI every day as a working tool, including for tasks that used to require briefing engineers, designers, or content specialists. Prototyping a screen to validate a concept before it goes to RD, drafting and translating documentation across our five languages, turning support data into product insight, building the first version of a feature presentation. If you would once have delegated it and waited, the expectation now is that you try it yourself first. We do not need an AI engineer. We need someone who reaches for AI by default and has the judgement to know where it adds value and where it does not. /p h3Requirements /h3 h3What we are looking for /h3 pAn engineer, or someone with equivalent technical formation and the mindset that goes with it. Our products are mechanical, electronic, and software integrated, and you need to genuinely understand what is inside them to represent them well to the rest of the business. /p pBeyond the technical background, the person we hire needs to have a proactive, doer mentality. This is not a role with everything set up and waiting for someone to execute. It needs to be shaped by whoever takes it on, and the beginning will not be easy. We are looking for someone with the energy and drive to define how product management works at GRAM, build the processes that are missing, and push things forward without waiting for instructions. /p pIf you have spent your career in large, heavily structured organisations and what you want next is the opposite (more ownership, less politics, more direct impact, more speed), this is built for you. If you are most comfortable when there are several layers of approval before anything moves, this is not the place. /p pConcretely, the person we hire should: /p ol liEnjoy working across multiple departments and be comfortable with the coordination side of product work, while constantly looking for ways to use AI to take the repetitive parts off your plate. /li liTranslate well between engineers, salespeople, marketers, and operations people, each of whom has a different language and different priorities. /li liBe organised and reliable. Much of this work is about making sure many parallel tasks land on time and in coordination with each other. /li liUse AI as a default working tool, with the judgement to know when to trust it and when to override it. /li liCommunicate clearly in English and in Spanish. Catalan is a plus. /li liHave experience with industrial or B2B technical products in companies that sell both directly and through distribution networks. /li /ol pWe are less interested in formal Product Management certifications than in evidence that you have done this kind of work well in a real company with real products. /p h3Benefits /h3 h3What we offer /h3 pA role with genuine impact at a company going through a serious transformation.
