ph3Clinical Specialist Interventional - Spain /h3 h3POSITION SUMMARY /h3 pThe Spanish Clinical Medical Affairs (CMA) Specialist Interventional reports to the EMEA CMA Manager and is responsible for supporting the safe and effective use of the Interventional portfolio. The Clinical Specialist will assist with education programs and collaborate with key physicians health providers to provide country level education and clinical support. Working with the EMEA CMA Manager, the post will facilitate legal compliance with HCP interactions and education delivery. Clinical support and procedural education will be provided to physicians, nurses, technicians, etc. to include support for live cases/proctorships/scientific meetings and other educational programs in the therapeutic areas related to focus products. Society engagements facilitating the exchange of scientific information, in close collaboration with the CMA Manager and CMA Leadership team. The CS will assist the BU CMA Leader, BU Sales Leaders and Marketing department in the identification and delivery of appropriate internal and external customer training and education programs to support the Business Unit focused product portfolio. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to trouble shoot medical device applications in a cardiology clinical setting are necessary. /p h3PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 pAs an integral part of the CMA team, performance will be measured on delivery of assigned procedural education, its customer evaluations and feedback from the EMEA CMA leadership. /p ul liSpecifically, a series of key metrics will be measured on a quarterly basis. /li liOverall completion of key strategic initiatives developed in conjunction with the EMEA CMA Leadership team. /li liCustomer support initiatives including education and training support and procedural support. /li liOverall EMEA CMA performance. /li /ul pThis position will educate and support a wide range of healthcare professionals on the safe and effective use of Teleflex Interventional products. Provide a support function to the Teleflex commercial and marketing teams by ensuring that both the sales team and post holder keeps up to date on the latest clinical evidence, practice and developments relating to Teleflex Interventional products. /p pKey responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following: /p ul liClinical procedural training of customers in the use of the Teleflex Interventional portfolio to ensure safe and effective utilization of the product. /li liFacilitate the implementation of clinical workshops, live cases and proctoring for focused interventional products. /li liSupport pre-congress workshops and in-booth education programs. /li liDevelop and deliver educational activities ensuring compliance with Teleflex regulatory requirements. /li liCustomize, monitor and track product deployment plans for accounts in conjunction with the Manager. /li liMaintain training records and report these to CMA leadership. /li liSupport the educational grant process research submissions in conjunction with EMEA Clinical Manager and Global Scientific Research Services Team. /li liProvide clinical support to the commercial team and all customers. /li liAssist with the development and relationship maintenance of Key Opinion Leaders. /li liResponsible for clinical product training in conjunction with product manager (PM) and NSM for sales/marketing team members. /li liFacilitate training requests for approved education courses (on off site). /li liPerform field clinical trouble‑shooting on the Company’s products by working with clinicians as required in collaboration with the QA/RA teams. /li liDevelop ethical, long‑term customer relationships and represent the Company positively through field travel, clinical interaction, and medical/scientific meetings. /li liCollaborate communicate effectively across CMA, Marketing Sales team and remain compliant to Teleflex HCP policy and legal education requirements. /li liMaintain regular clinical credibility with Interventional cardiology and undertake the necessary revalidation requirements to maintain Registered Nurse status (if applicable). /li liOther assigned duties and responsibilities as required by CMA objectives. /li /ul h3EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS /h3 ul liQualification in the healthcare sector and registration with the relevant professional register. /li liDegree in medicine/clinical fields. /li liPossess a minimum of 2 years experience in Cardiology Interventional Nursing within a cardiac catheter laboratory. Alternatively, proven experience in the sector. /li liExperience in PCI and preferably with Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) cases; experience in Structural procedures such as EVAR, TEVAR and TAVI procedures; experience in peripheral vascular interventions. /li liSkills and competencies in cardiac catheter laboratory and Vascular or Interventional Radiology nursing. /li liProven experience of education and teaching using simulation and workshop approaches. /li liExperience of developing and delivering teaching presentations to a group of health care professionals /li /ul h3SPECIALIZED SKILLS OTHER REQUIREMENTS /h3 ul liExhibits strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills. /li liExhibits strong time-management and organizational skills. /li liEstablished track record of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers. /li liProficient in Microsoft Office Suite. /li liSpanish native speaker and fluent English speaker. /li liClinical proficiency in area of clinical training. /li liDriving license. /li liPost will require frequent travel across Spain (up to 75%) and occasional trips abroad. /li /ul h3CULTURE /h3 h3CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE /h3 pRepresenting Teleflex in a customer facing position is a tremendous responsibility opportunity. /p h3CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT /h3 pDemonstrates initiative and critical thinking to identify and prioritize process and performance gaps.
