Therefore, we are seeking a result‑oriented Maintenance Manager (Jefe/a de Mantenimiento) in Marbella, Spain . In this mid‑management role, you will act as a key technical anchor for our beachfront resort. Specifically, you will coordinate corrective maintenance tasks and manage technical‑legal preventive plans. You will also oversee engineering teams and control annual maintenance budgets. By doing so, you will combine your technical expertise with strict safety and quality standards. Job Description: Maintenance Manager (Jefe/a de Mantenimiento) Your Mission: Facility Excellence & Technical Leadership Your primary goal involves driving technical operational success across our 5‑star resort. To achieve this, you will execute structured preventive and legal maintenance plans. At the same time, you will keep all machinery, systems, and guest facilities pristine. Therefore, you will manage daily work orders and perform routine building inspections. Additionally, you will direct technical personnel, track energy consumption, and control maintenance budgets. As a result, you will eliminate technical bottlenecks and protect our hotel’s reputation for luxury excellence. Your Key Responsibilities: Maintenance Execution: Plan and execute corrective, preventive, predictive, and technical‑legal maintenance according to facility schedules. System & Equipment Inspections: Perform routine inspections to detect, diagnose, and resolve technical issues across all hotel installations. Team Leadership & Scheduling: Lead maintenance staff during incident resolution. Furthermore, manage team schedules, shift rotations, leave requests, and training needs. Budget & Inventory Control: Control annual maintenance expenses and monitor spare parts inventory. Consequently, you will order replacement equipment when necessary. Energy Management & Waste Tracking: Monitor energy consumption following Energy Department guidelines. In addition, oversee proper segregation of hazardous and urban waste. Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Enforce compliance with health, safety, occupational risk prevention (PRL), and hotel regulations (REBT, RITE, Legionella, Gas). Who You Are: The Skilled Technical Leader Educational Background: You hold a Degree in Technical/Industrial Engineering, or a Higher Vocational Degree (FP I/II) in Electricity, Electronics, Installation, or Energy. Certified Maintenance Manager (CMMI) or DDD training is highly valued. Proven Foundations: You bring at least 4 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager in hotels, commercial buildings, or residential complexes. Regulatory & Software Mastery: You demonstrate deep knowledge of hotel regulations (REBT, RITE, Legionella, PRL, Gas). Moreover, you feel comfortable using Maintenance Management Software and Microsoft Office. The Linguist: You display B1-level proficiency in English alongside fluent Spanish. Knowledge of additional international languages is considered a valuable asset. Mobility Requirements: You hold a valid driver’s license (Carné de conducir) and own a personal vehicle.
