ppDescription /p h3Project Summary: /h3 pTo assist the European Commission in facilitating spaces for dialogue (in-person and virtual) and consultations at global and regional level with civil society networks, foundations and associations of local authorities and EU institutions and Member States, mainly through the Policy Forum on Development (PFD), and ad hoc consultations. To support the European Commission in exploring new avenues of cooperation with CSOs, foundations and LAs and guiding the organisations in this regard. To contribute to the drafting of concept notes, regular updates on policy issues related to and raised by civil society, foundations and associations of local authorities and contribute in background papers, and other material relevant for the dialogue. /p h3Role: /h3 pThe KE2 will support the implementation of all activities relating to delivery of events, conferences, and workshops, digital stakeholder engagement, online consultation mechanisms, platform management and knowledge-sharing services. /p pThe Digital Platform and Event Management Expert will be responsible for the design, establishment, implementation and continuous improvement of digital stakeholder-engagement systems supporting the Policy Forum on Development and the Global Gateway CSO-LA Advisory Platform. She/he will also lead the delivery of all events, conferences, and workshops, as well as the development and delivery of communications surrounding the event activities. /p h3The Expert Will Oversee /h3 ul liInternational, digital, and hybrid conferences, workshops and events /li listakeholder platform management; /li lidigital communities and online engagement; /li listakeholder databases; /li lionline consultation tools; /li liwebinar and virtual-event support; /li licontent governance; /li liknowledge management; /li lianalytics and reporting; /li limoderation and community management. /li /ul pThe expert will work closely with the Team Leader and client representatives to ensure that digital engagement activities support policy dialogue, consultation and knowledge-sharing objectives. /p h3Qualifications And Skills /h3 ul liUniversity degree at Bachelor's level or higher in a discipline relevant to the assignment. /li liExcellent communication and reporting skills. /li liExcellent event management, digital stakeholder-engagement and online-community management skills. /li liHigh proficiency in written and spoken English. /li /ul h3General Professional Experience /h3 ul liMinimum 10 years of general professional working experience. /li liMinimum 5 years of experience managing digital engagement, communication or knowledge-management platforms. /li liGeneral understanding of EU international partnerships, cooperation and third country engagement priorities, especially in Global Gateway priority regions. /li /ul h3Specific Professional Experience /h3 ul liMinimum 5 years of experience organising events for projects funded by the European Union. /li liMinimum 3 years of experience designing, implementing or managing online stakeholder platforms. /li liMinimum 3 years of experience supporting webinars, virtual workshops, online consultations or digital stakeholder-engagement activities. /li liMinimum 3 years of experience with communication and visibility . /li /ul h3Assets /h3 pThe following assets will be used to assess comparative strengths: /p ul liExperience supporting Global Gateway, development cooperation or public policy initiatives. /li liExperience with multilingual communication environments. /li liExperience with accessibility and inclusive-design approaches. /li liExperience managing digital knowledge hubs, online resource centres or thematic communities of practice. /li /ul pPlease note that the above role is for an upcoming bid, and the profile will be considered contingent upon winning the bid. /p h3Working at ICF /h3 pICF is a global advisory and technology services provider, but we’re not your typical consultants.
