We are specifically looking for a French speaker. We are a team of data analysts who have effective relationships with other teams and are committed to deliver best quality data. As a Senior Data Research Analyst in the Data Division, you will work closely with the Global Data Team and Local Business Representatives, taking responsibility for data coverage, quality, and timeliness to the highest standards. The Operation Data Analyst will form closer links with providers related to data acquisition processes and gain knowledge of our database. The position will be based in our Data and Development Center EMEA in Madrid. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liCollaborate closely with the global data teams /li liData expert on investment data points, processes, methodologies, calculations different fund structures /li liManage business relationships with fund companies. Connecting with providers setting up acquisition channels as well as acting as a point of escalation /li liMeet the predetermined production deadlines for internal and external clients /li liContinuously evaluate procedures, create and enhance analytical tools, and implement process improvement projects. /li liUtilize project management methodologies such as LEAN Six Sigma to track, evaluate and determine resolution approach for complex data issues. /li liCollect and maintain Morningstar data, ensuring high levels of data accuracy, completeness and coverage. /li liDemonstrate a high sense of ownership of the issues in the data ticket queue to be responsive and provide timely updates, follow-up, expedition, and resolution. /li liUnderstand roles, responsibilities, and expertise of internal partners to expedite issue resolution. /li liTranslate requests from internal clients into detailed written specifications and user stories. /li liImprove and document client use cases to ensure any new functionality meets and exceeds client expectations /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liA bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required /li liProficient oral and written communication skills. Fluent in English, French and another European language would be an advantage (German, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese) /li liCollaborates well in a team environment, have the ability to communicate and work with team members from diverse backgrounds, in a conscientious and inclusive way. /li liSensitive to clients’ needs /li liSolid understanding of the financial industry and passionate about investment data. /li liExcellent organizational and time-management skills, capable of handling high volumes of data and meeting strict deadlines /li liYou will be collaborating with cross functional teams and leading from the front when it comes to Operational data, Performance data, etc, so experience within data methodology/quality and processes is a big bonus. /li liPrevious experience in project management is preferred. /li liProficiency in Microsoft Excel /li /ul h3Ready to Shape the Future? /h3 pAt Morningstar, every hire we make strengthens our mission to empower investor success.
