As an Activity Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organising, and delivering a wide range of engaging activities for children aged 7–15 at our international summer camp. You will work closely with the Camp Director and activity team, leading daily activity sessions, supporting and guiding Activity Assistants, and ensuring a safe, fun, and inclusive environment at all times. You will also coordinate off-site excursions, including regular beach trips, and help ensure smooth daily operations across the camp programme. This role is ideal for energetic, responsible individuals who enjoy working with children and are confident leading groups, delivering activities, and taking ownership of day‑to‑day camp life in a dynamic summer setting. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul li bActivity Planning Delivery /b ul liPlan and deliver a diverse programme of engaging activities including sports, games, arts crafts, team challenges, and creative workshops. /li liEnsure activities are well‑structured, inclusive, and appropriate for children aged 7–15. /li liAdapt sessions to suit group needs, energy levels, and weather conditions. /li /ul /li li bLeadership Team Coordination /b ul liLead and support Activity Assistants in the delivery of daily sessions. /li liProvide clear instructions, supervision, and encouragement to junior staff. /li liWork closely with the Camp Director to ensure smooth programme delivery and daily organisation. /li liPromote a positive, enthusiastic, and professional team environment. /li /ul /li li bSupervision Safeguarding /b ul liEnsure children are supervised at all times and that safety standards are consistently met. /li liMonitor group wellbeing and behaviour, addressing issues appropriately and reporting concerns to senior staff. /li liMaintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment across all activities and excursions. /li /ul /li li bExcursions Outdoor Activities /b ul liLead and oversee off‑site excursions, including beach trips and local outings. /li liEnsure all risk assessments and safety procedures are followed during travel and outdoor activities. /li liManage group organisation, attendance, and behaviour while off‑site. /li /ul /li /ul h3PERSON SPECIFICATION /h3 ul li bEssential /b ul liMinimum age: 18+. /li liProven experience working with children or young people (e.g., summer camps, schools, coaching, youth programmes). /li liConfident leading groups and delivering structured activities. /li liStrong background or interest in sports, arts, crafts, or outdoor education. /li liResponsible, reliable, and highly organised. /li liExcellent communication and leadership skills. /li liAbility to work well under pressure in a busy, fast‑paced environment. /li liLegal right to work in Spain and relevant documentation. /li liMust currently live in the Marbella area or have accommodation arranged; housing is not provided. /li /ul /li li bDesirable /b ul liPrevious experience in a summer camp leadership or coordinator role. /li liEnglish and Spanish language skills. /li liFirst‑aid qualification or safeguarding training. /li liExperience leading beach trips or outdoor excursion programmes. /li liCreative or specialist skills in areas such as drama, music, or team sports. /li /ul /li /ul h3Competencies /h3 ul liStrong leadership with a positive and proactive attitude. /li liApproachable, supportive, and confident with both children and staff. /li liExcellent team management and communication skills. /li liFlexible, adaptable, and solution‑focused. /li liHigh level of responsibility with strong attention to safety and detail. /li liEnergetic, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering an exceptional camp experience. /li /ul pWe welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds.
