Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, the People Advisor plays a key role in supporting the delivery of an efficient and professional people & culture service across the business. The role is responsible for coordinating recruitment activities, supporting managers and employees with day-to-day HR enquiries, managing HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle, and ensuring HR systems and processes are maintained accurately and compliantly. The People Advisor acts as a first point of contact for routine HR matters, providing guidance on policies and procedures whilst escalating more complex employee relations or legal matters to the People & Culture Manager. The role combines operational HR support with recruitment coordination and offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their HR career. This is a full-time role working 39 hours per week, based at our Alhama de Murcia Campus. Role Duties Recruitment & Talent Acquisition • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, including drafting and posting adverts, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate communications., • Work closely with hiring managers to support workforce planning and recruitment needs., • Coordinate work experience placements, internships, and talent attraction initiatives., • Maintain recruitment records and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Employee Lifecycle Administration • Manage onboarding and induction processes, including preparing offer letters, contracts, pre-employment checks, and new starter documentation., • Provide administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle, including contractual changes, probation reviews, family‑friendly leave administration, and offboarding processes., • Conduct exit interviews and compile feedback and trends for review., • Prepare employment references and routine HR correspondence. HR Operations & Systems • Maintain accurate employee records and data within the HR Information System (HiBob)., • Support payroll processes by preparing and submitting accurate employee data, including new starters, leavers, contractual changes, and absence information., • Monitor HR compliance requirements and ensure personnel records are up to date., • Produce HR reports and metrics as required. HR Support & Employee Experience • Act as the first point of contact for routine HR queries from managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practice., • Support managers with absence management, probation reviews, and day‑to‑day people matters., • Provide administrative support for employee relations cases, including note‑taking, meeting coordination, and documentation preparation., • Support employee engagement, wellbeing, and recognition initiatives., • Assist with HR projects, policy updates, and continuous improvement initiatives. Core Competencies • At least 2 years previous experience in an HR., • CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards qualification., • Experience using HiBob or other HR Information Systems., • Knowledge of Spanish employment practices or experience supporting international teams., • Good understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle administration., • Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy., • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion., • Strong organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Confident user of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and HR systems., • Ability to build positive working relationships with employees and managers at all levels., • Proactive and solutions‑focused approach., • Resilient & Calm under pressure., • Fluent in both Spanish & English., • Driving licence and access to own vehicle.
