With a sound development pipeline, first-class assets, and market-leading operating capacity, EDPR has undergone exceptional development in recent years and is currently present in 28 markets. /p h3What you will do: /h3 pWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Controlling Planning Intern to join our Finance team for a 12-month internship program. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in Financial Controlling, SAP master data management, reporting, budgeting, and business analysis. /p pThe successful candidate will support key finance processes, collaborate with multiple business stakeholders, and contribute to data quality, financial governance, reporting, and planning activities while developing strong analytical and technical skills. /p pGeneral Responsibilities: /p ulliSupport the maintenance of SAP Controlling structures and financial master data, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems. /liliAssist in the validation, reconciliation, and quality control of financial and operational information. /liliCollaborate with different business areas to collect, organize, and validate data required for reporting and controlling activities. /liliSupport the preparation, consolidation, and maintenance of financial datasets used for management reporting. /liliParticipate in financial master data migrations, organizational changes, and system enhancement projects. /liliHelp identify data inconsistencies, investigate root causes, and support corrective actions to improve data quality. /liliAssist in documenting finance processes, procedures, and governance guidelines. /liliContribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for standardization, simplification, and automation. /liliSupport the maintenance of controlling objects such as cost centers, profit centers, internal orders, and other financial structures. /liliPerform routine data checks and validations to ensure compliance with internal control standards. /liliWork closely with Finance and business stakeholders to ensure the reliability and consistency of financial information. /liliDevelop practical knowledge of SAP, financial governance, and controlling processes while supporting daily operations. /liliParticipate in Budget and Forecast cycles, supporting data collection, validation, and analysis activities. /liliAssist in the preparation of monthly performance reports, including Actual vs Budget and Actual vs Forecast analyses. /liliSupport variance analysis by identifying key drivers and preparing explanations for financial deviations. /liliContribute to the preparation of management presentations, dashboards, and reporting packs using Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI. /liliSupport monthly closing activities through report updates, data validation, and information consolidation. /liliAssist the Finance team with ad-hoc financial analyses and business performance reviews. /liliHelp monitor key financial and operational KPIs and contribute to performance tracking initiatives. /liliParticipate in the continuous improvement of reporting tools and planning processes. /li /ul h3What You Will Learn /h3 pDuring the internship, you will gain practical exposure to: /p ulliFinancial Planning Analysis (FPA) /liliControlling and Management Reporting /liliSAP Controlling Structures and Master Data Governance /liliBudgeting and Forecasting Processes /liliFinancial Data Quality Management /liliBusiness Performance Analysis /liliReporting Automation and Dashboarding /liliCross-functional collaboration in an international business environment /li /ul pBy the end of the internship, the candidate will: /p ulliUnderstand core Controlling and FPA processes. /liliGain hands‑on experience with SAP financial structures and governance. /liliDevelop strong analytical and reporting skills. /liliLearn to support budgeting and forecasting for business decision‑making. /liliBuild expertise in financial data management and reporting tools. /liliImprove stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities. /li /ul pbEmployment type: /bFull-Time Internship /p pbWork site: /bHybrid Model /p pbAvailability to Travel /b: N/A /p h3What are we looking for: /h3 p1- Academic Skills: /p ulliFinance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or related studies. /li /ul p2- Professional Experience: /p ulliNot required / applicable. /li /ul p3- Specific Knowledge: /p ulliProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. /liliKnowledge of Power BI is a plus. /liliSAP knowledge is a plus but not required. /li /ul p4- Languages: /p ulliHigh level of Spanish. /liliHigh level of English. /li /ul p5- Skills: /p ulliStrong analytical and problem-solving mindset. /liliAttention to detail and data accuracy. /liliEagerness to learn finance processes and systems. /liliGood communication and teamwork skills. /liliAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. /li /ul pMore than academic knowledge and technical skills, we are looking for ambitious people who are enthusiastic about the future and who bring human skills aligned with our purpose. /p h3Equal opportunities for all /h3 pOur vision is that each person combines their unique characteristics and experiences to fulfil our mission of creating new energy for the planet.
