ppCIDETEC Energy Storage is looking for an engineer to join in the Energy Materials Unit. The position will cover the needs of the strategic projects carried out in the cell assembly Pilot Plant. /ppIf you want to be part of this revolution, we are waiting for you! /ppOur work covers the entire value chain, from battery chemistry to the final application. The researcher's work will be related to project management. /ph3Your contribution /h3pYou will form part of a state-of-the-art research centre, geared to sustainability and the circular economy, which has helped electrify Spain's roads and is now working towards 100% future sustainability. /ppThe successful candidate will work in the Pilot Plant, implementing new processes and techniques for the manufacture of electrodes and lithium ion cells. /ppFor this purpose, he or she must have knowledge in the set-up and maintenance of machinery, and in process development, industrialization and optimization. /ppThe successful candidate will work independently according to the defined work plan. /ppHe or she will participate in the following tasks: /pulliManufacture of electrodes for batteries and manufacture of cells: Ink processing and knife and slot die coating, electrode stacking, ultrasonic and laser welding, electrolyte filling /liliMaintenance and set-up of machinery. /li /ulpDesign of coupling systems for new machinery. /pulliBattery manufacturing: keeping records and traceability of materials. Experience in DOE and SPC. /liliSet-up and commissioning of new equipment: FAT/SAT. Knowledge of design and maintenance of machinery. /liliLean manufacturing, 6-sigma and continuous improvement. /liliManufacturing processes: electrode manufacturing, die cutting, stacking (Z-folding, winding), ultrasonic and laser welding, electrolyte filling, hot pressing. /liliQuality: Create quality protocols, monitor and product registration. Perform troubleshooting activities (8D, Ishikawa), risk analysis (FMEA, HAZOP) and support NCR and CAPA reports. /li /ulpExperience in pouch and/or prismatic cells. /pulliExperience leading teams. /liliExperience in European and industrials project management and coordination. /li /ulh3Observations /h3pA highly motivated person, with a keen interest in research and innovation, you will join a multidisciplinary team.
