Job Title The UAS (Uncrewed Aerial Systems) Flight Autonomy System Engineer (M/F) ¡Inscríbase sin demora! Limited contract linked to delivery of flight autonomy demonstrator, estimated completion end of December 2028. Overview Architect and uphold the systems engineering and verification framework for the flight autonomy demonstrator. Spearhead the definition and governance of system and functional requirements, ensure robust allocation, traceability, and design a V&V strategy across simulation, laboratory benches, ground campaigns, and flight‑test operations. Key Responsibilities • Lead generation and decomposition of clear, testable system requirements using MBSE tools such as Simulink Requirements., • Maintain end‑to‑end traceability from concept to flight‑test evidence., • Develop and maintain functional, logical, and physical architectures with MATLAB System Composer., • Ensure consistency across software baselines, ICDs, and hardware interfaces., • Define system‑level Verification & Validation strategy and allocate testing methods across MIL, SIL, PIL, HIL, ground, and flight‑test operations., • Coordinate requirements‑based testing and lead post‑test assessments of recorded flight data, managing anomalies and compliance matrices., • Act as the central link between systems engineering, software development, safety, hardware integration, and the flight‑test crew. Qualifications & Experience, • Strong background in systems engineering, integration, or V&V within aerospace, UAS, avionics, or autonomous systems., • Deep familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink tools such as System Composer, Simulink Requirements, Simulink Test/Coverage, or equivalent tools (DOORS, Polarion, Cameo)., • Hands‑on experience with SIL/HIL environments and translating operational scenarios into ground and flight‑test procedures., • Understanding of embedded systems, interfaces like ROS2/DDS, scripting in MATLAB or Python, and safety/development standards such as ARP4754A and DO‑178C., • A holistic “big‑picture” thinker who thrives in fast‑paced, agile environments, values transparency, and drives progress.
