SUPO, where required)Why this role matters As an EHS Specialist, you will support the implementation and continuous improvement of our Environment, Health & Safety programs across our site in Valencia. You’ll play a hands‑on role in keeping our people safe, our operations compliant, and our safety culture strong. Operating as a standalone position within the Valencia facility, you will have strong cooperation with local leadership and global EHS management. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities • Ensure facility compliance with local, national, and international EHS regulations, • Conduct regular workplace inspections, hazard identifications, and risk assessments in accordance with global practices, • Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and follow‑up on corrective/preventive actions, • Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels, • Maintain and test emergency response plans and proceduresWhat we're looking forMust haves, • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field, • 3–5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, • Solid working knowledge of Spanish EHS legislation and regulatory frameworks, • Proficient in EHS management systems (ISO 45001 and ISO 14001) and data reporting tools, • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills (experience in 5‑Why, fishbone, or other RCA methodologies), • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, • Organized, detail‑oriented, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyNice to haves, • Familiarity with Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies, • Experience working with contractors and managing permit‑to‑work systemsApplication Process, • Talent Acquisition Interview, • Hiring Manager Interview, • Technical/Case Study InterviewWorking at ICEYE At ICEYE, you’ll join a diverse and highly engaged team united by the ambition to make the impossible possible.
