Main Purpose & Responsibilities Act as the custodian of design quality throughout all project delivery phases, ensure continuity and integrity of the approved architectural and interior design vision, and coordinate closely with Architecture and Interior Design Directors to validate and refine design decisions. Review and assess schematic, detailed design, tender, and construction documentation, challenge design, technical, procurement, or value engineering decisions that may compromise design quality, and provide clear guidance and technical direction while escalating critical design quality concerns where required. Oversee the technical coordination and integration of all disciplines, ensure design solutions are coordinated, buildable, compliant, and operationally functional, identify technical risks and coordination gaps, and review and validate technical solutions aligned with brand standards and approved design intent. Interface directly with Project Directors and project delivery teams, support alignment between design quality objectives and project delivery constraints, provide technical and design guidance during decision‑making processes, participate in project reviews, and support tender and construction processes through technical reviews and design quality oversight. Coordinate with external consultants and stakeholders, review consultant deliverables, participate in the definition of consultant scopes, and ensure consultant outputs are aligned with project standards, while participating in value engineering processes and providing technical alternatives that balance cost efficiency with design integrity. Work closely with Architecture & Product and Interior Design & Product Directors and cross‑functional teams, support alignment between technical solutions, operational efficiency, and guest experience objectives, participate in construction reviews and site inspections, lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams while promoting technical excellence, coordination quality, and design accountability. What You’ll Bring (Qualifications) Degree in Architecture or Engineering (Master’s preferred), and 12–15+ years of experience in hospitality design, technical coordination, and project quality oversight. Strong experience in schematic and detailed design coordination across complex hospitality or mixed‑use developments, and proven experience safeguarding design intent throughout project delivery and construction phases. Strong background in multidisciplinary coordination including MEP and Civil engineering integration, experience within owner, developer, operator, or integrated project environments, and demonstrated experience managing multi‑country hospitality projects. Strong experience interfacing with Project Management, Delivery, and Construction teams, background in luxury hospitality developments preferred, and fluent English required; Greek and/or Spanish preferred. Expert knowledge of technical coordination principles, project controls, and design governance processes, and excellent analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills, with strong technical design and multidisciplinary coordination capability and deep understanding of hospitality design quality and guest experience expectations. Ability to balance technical, operational, commercial, and design considerations, strong decision‑making authority, high attention to detail and quality standards, strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional communication skills, acting as the custodian of design quality and technical integrity, the guardian of approved design intent, and the technical authority balancing quality, constructability, and operational performance, ensuring hospitality projects are delivered with the highest standards of coordination, technical quality, and guest experience consistency while maintaining alignment with the company’s brand and product vision.
