Becoming an Impact Maker means turning sustainability ambitions into actions at the intersection of automation, electrification, and digitization. Are you ready to lead the digital transformation to create a more sustainable world? If you are up to challenge your creativity and make an impact, we are excited to welcome you! Mission As part of the Intelligent Edge – Edge System Management team, the Architect & Technical Lead defines and steers the technical and architectural foundations of the platform. The role ensures alignment between engineering, Intelligent Edge Architecture team, AI Hub, and Product Management to deliver a coherent, scalable, and future‐proof Edge System Management capability within the Schneider Electric ecosystem. This position combines hands‐on technical leadership with system architecture responsibilities, while contributing selectively to forward‐looking "anticipation" topics directly relevant to Edge System Management. Responsibilities • System Architecture: Define, maintain, and communicate the target architecture for Edge System Management, ensuring consistency with IE architectural vision and platform strategy. Translate product requirements into end‐to‐end architecture designs, covering interfaces, components, integration patterns, data flows, and operational models. Drive architectural decision‐making, document architecture decisions (ADRs), and ensure alignment with architecture, engineering teams, and partner organizations. Collaborate closely with the IE Architecture team to apply and influence cross‐platform guidelines and shared technology choices., • Technical Leadership: Provide hands‐on support to development teams through design reviews, technical guidance, and problem‐solving activities. Ensure adoption of engineering best practices (scalability, observability, performance, reliability, DevOps). Work with Product Management to structure and prioritize technical backlog items, architectural enablers, and technical debt reduction. Validate integration and end‐to‐end system behaviors across platform components., • AI Hub & Cross‐Team Integration: Define and maintain integration architecture between Edge System Management and AI Hub services (data pipelines, model distribution, APIs, runtime integration). Ensure compatibility, extensibility, and smooth incorporation of AI capabilities into the Edge ecosystem. Represent the team in cross‐organizational discussions with AI Hub, EcoOS, and other IE teams., • Anticipation & Technology Exploration: Identify and assess emerging technologies relevant to system orchestration, distributed systems, observability, edge/AI lifecycle, and platform evolution.
