This is a remote role based in the EMEA region. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead the product development lifecycle, reviewing the priorities and goals for the Hardware Certification product. /li liCollaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to shape the development roadmap. /li liDefine future business models considering the competitive landscape. /li liEngage with the Ubuntu user community, key partners, OEMs and leading customers to enable commercial success and drive go-to-market efforts. /li liLead the roadmap of Hardware Certification and drive partnerships with OEMs. /li liWork with engineering to shape the development roadmap for the Hardware Certification scheme. /li liConduct market research, analyze industry trends, and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities. /li liCommunicate product vision, status updates, and key decisions to align stakeholders and manage expectations. /li liLead usability testing and iterate on the product to improve the user experience. /li liCollaborate with marketing, sales, and support to develop go-to-market strategies, product documentation, and training. /li liSupport the sales team in winning opportunities and participate in customer meetings as needed. /li /ul h3What we are looking for in you /h3 ul liExceptional academic results at high school and university /li liUnderstanding of Linux and the wider open source software community /li liUnderstanding of computer architecture, application development, datacenters, cloud or devices /li liPassion to write about technologies and the tech landscape /li liA strong work ethic and alignment with the open source movement /li liCuriosity and the habit of continuous learning /li liA strong sense of ownership /li liProblem solving and the ability to innovate /li liOutstanding communication skills in English, both verbal and written /li liWillingness to travel internationally up to 4 times a year for company events up to two weeks long /li /ul h3Nice-to-have skills /h3 ul liFamiliarity with the technology ecosystem including Silicon, IHV, ISV, ODM/OEMs, cloud service providers /li liFamiliarity with embedded and connected device technology and ecosystems /li liFamiliarity with hardware/software testing frameworks /li liExperience building a certification program /li /ul h3What we offer you /h3 ul liDistributed work environment with twice-yearly team sprints in person /li liPersonal learning and development budget of USD 2,000 per year /li liAnnual compensation review /li liRecognition rewards /li liAnnual holiday leave /li liMaternity and paternity leave /li liEmployee Assistance Program /li liOpportunity to travel to new locations to meet colleagues /li liTravel upgrades for long haul company events /li /ul h3About Canonical /h3 pCanonical is a pioneering tech firm at the forefront of the global move to open source.
