Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 15:30 /p pTIMETABLE OF EVENTS FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF LABOUR RESEARCH STAFF BY RESEARCH AREAS AND STRATEGIC PRIORITIES /p pESTIMATED DURATION OF DUTIES 2 months /p pThe Galician Research Centre (CITIC) comprises more than 300 researchers. As part of the network of research centres within the Galician University System, it provides research staff with high-performance and specialised computing infrastructure that facilitates the execution of projects in the fields of artificial intelligence, data science and engineering, high-performance computing, smart services and networks, and cybersecurity. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport for the management and control of CITIC’s high‑capacity data centre, including updates and monitoring of maintenance contracts. /li liSupport for the administration of the virtualisation infrastructure, including resource allocation and monitoring of activity. /li liServer monitoring and administration, responding to hardware and software failures. /li liSupport for the management of network storage systems. /li liInstallation and maintenance of security systems to prevent attacks and unauthorised access. /li liBackup management for the Centre’s critical components. /li liManagement of network access for researchers and servers, acting as the point of contact with the UDC’s network services. /li liSupport for the maintenance and monitoring of the servers providing services to the Centre (document management, web, storage, etc.). /li liPropose and coordinate changes to improve the operation of systems and applications. /li liTechnical support for Centre staff. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liVocational Training (FP) qualification of equivalent or higher level. /li liUp‑to‑date employment history report and employment contracts (or RETA registration for self‑employed). /li liCertificates issued by the relevant official body for research projects. /li liOfficial language proficiency certificate (e.g., CEFR, Cambridge, DELE, EOI). /li liMeeting the requirements specified in Article 8 of the Regulations on the Recruitment of Contract Staff (Chapter 6). /li /ul h3EEO Statement /h3 pThe University of A Coruña guarantees a selection process based on merit, transparency and equal opportunities (OTM‑R Policies), within the framework of the European ‘HR Excellence in Research’ accreditation. /p h3Contract Conditions /h3 pFunding for the contract may be provided, in whole or in part, by any other project or grant associated with the Research Line, even prior to the end of the initial months, provided that adequate and sufficient funding is available. Pursuant to the provisions of Article 5 of Instruction 2/2025, of 17 March 2025, issued by the Vice‑Rectorate for Research and Transfer, regulating the registration of research and strategic lines and the recruitment of research staff funded from these lines, the validity of this permanent contract is subject to the continued need for the tasks and the existence of adequate and sufficient funding within the research line. The exhaustion of the funding allocated to the line, or the completion of the technical activities justifying the post without the possibility of redeployment, shall constitute objective grounds for termination of the contract (Article 52(e) of the Workers’ Statute). /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
