No Offer Description Research areas: Strategic area: Vice‑Rectorate for Research and Transfer (registration no. 20). Grant reference: Agreement on staff reinforcement, transfer management and innovation 2023–2026 – Collaboration agreement between the Regional Ministry of Culture, Education, Vocational Training and Universities and the Universities of A Coruña, Santiago de Compostela and Vigo for the Reinforcement of Staff for the Management of Transfer and Innovation and the Consolidation of Research Structures 2023–2026. Grant period: Start 01/01/2023 – End 31/12/2026. Main Research Centre: Vice‑Rectorate for Research and Technology Transfer. Responsibilities • Coordinate the work of staff in CITIC’s IT department., • Provide technical support for the administration, operation and maintenance of CITIC’s own infrastructure and technological resources used for research activities., • Manage and operate the Linux systems, the high‑performance computing platform, and the technical tools associated with the centre’s scientific infrastructure., • Collaborate on the deployment, monitoring and technical improvement of projects, environments and technological solutions supporting research., • Provide technical support for the identification, integration and commissioning of ICT equipment, software and services related to research., • Coordinate the collection, organization and updating of technical and operational documentation from the various departments within CITIC., • Provide technical support for the management and use of information on the centre’s scientific output and research activities., • Collaborate on the technical preparation of prototypes, proof‑of‑concepts, demonstrators and materials for dissemination, innovation and technology transfer., • Configure and maintain virtualisation environments, containers (Docker or equivalent), version control repositories (GIT or equivalent), and carry out integration tests with the centre’s scientific infrastructure., • Prepare technical environments for research projects; carry out deployments, testing and validation; record the results; and report any technical issues detected., • Gather technical requirements from project leads and collaborate on drawing up specifications; check, receive, install and commission equipment, software, and services procured., • Coordinate the request for and compilation of technical and operational documentation generated by various departments of CITIC; ensure completeness, organize it in accordance with common criteria, and incorporate it into the centre’s repositories and tracking records., • Keep inventories, operating procedures, technical datasheets, manuals, activity logs and other documentation relating to infrastructure and technological resources up to date., • Carry out preventive, corrective, and evolutionary maintenance of the scientific output management application; update and clean up data, incorporate information provided by various departments, and extract indicators and dashboards., • Prepare and configure the technical resources required for prototypes, proof‑of‑concept tests and demonstrators, and collaborate in the development of technical materials for outreach, innovation and technology transfer activities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. • All qualifications and certificates must be submitted in a legible PDF format., • An up‑to‑date employment history report is mandatory, accompanied by employment contracts., • Only certificates issued by the relevant official body (e.g., the Vice‑Rectorate for Research or persons with legal authority) will be accepted., • Language proficiency must be demonstrated by an official certificate (CEFR, Cambridge, DELE, EOI or an equivalent recognized by the Selection Committee).
