Job DescriptionMaterial Handler Location: 100% Onsite Duration: 6-Month Contract (Potential for Extension) Schedule • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, • IMPORTANT: Shift assignment determined by Hiring Manager during interview., • Must be flexible to work either shift and stay beyond scheduled hours when business needs require.Requirements, • High School Diploma or GED required., • Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, seed production, seed conditioning, ginning, agriculture, or mechanical operations., • Knowledge of OSHA safety practices, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Confined Space Entry (CSE)., • Mechanical troubleshooting and equipment repair experience., • Strong teamwork and communication skills., • Ability to lift and stack bags up to 50 lbs., • Must pass drug screening and additional medical clearances.Position Summary Support daily seed treatment, counting, packaging, warehouse, and inventory operations. This role involves operating production equipment, monitoring product quality, maintaining accurate records, performing minor equipment repairs, and ensuring safe, efficient plant operations. Key Responsibilities • Operate and monitor seed treatment, counting, sampling, and bagging equipment., • Collect QA samples and maintain production records., • Monitor bag quality, labeling, barcodes, and packaging accuracy., • Ensure treatment application and seed count accuracy., • Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on bagging, treatment, and palletizing equipment., • Assist with inventory counts of seed, chemicals, and packaging materials., • Support cleanup, product changeovers, and carryover inventory activities., • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment., • Perform additional duties as assigned.What We're Looking For, • Mechanically inclined problem-solver., • Safety-focused and detail-oriented., • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment., • Reliable team player with a strong work ethic.
