Job Description Job Title: Inventory Warehouse Associate Job Description This role focuses on accurately picking, packing, and preparing inventory for shipment within a modern, temperature-controlled warehouse. You will ensure that all products are correctly labeled, counted, and packaged in alignment with work orders and packing lists, supporting efficient and reliable order fulfillment. Responsibilities • Walk through the warehouse to accurately pick and pull orders according to work orders and packaging lists., • Read and follow work orders and packaging lists to ensure the correct items and quantities are selected., • Verify labels and product contents with a high level of attention to detail to prevent errors., • Confirm counts of products pulled and reconcile any discrepancies before packaging., • Package products securely and prepare shipments according to company standards and customer requirements., • Support inventory control activities, including cycle counts and stock checks, to maintain accurate inventory records., • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, and order pickers, following all safety procedures., • Assist with general order fulfillment tasks, including staging, labeling, and organizing orders for shipment., • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with warehouse safety guidelines. Essential Skills • At least 1 year of experience in picking, order fulfillment, or a similar warehouse role., • Hands-on experience with inventory tasks such as picking, inventory control, and cycle counts., • Ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, cherry pickers, and order pickers (training or certification preferred where applicable)., • Strong attention to detail to verify labels, contents, and product counts accurately., • Ability to read, understand, and follow work orders and packaging lists., • Comfortable standing on feet for 8 or more hours per shift., • Ability to consistently lift 10–25 pounds throughout the workday., • Reliability and punctuality to support consistent warehouse operations. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Previous experience working in an inventory control or order picking environment., • Order fulfillment for distribution, logistics, or warehousing operations., • Familiarity with warehouse best practices for accuracy, safety, and efficiency., • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Work Environment You will work in a brand-new, temperature-controlled warehouse designed for comfort and efficiency. The role involves standing for most of the shift, walking throughout the facility to pick and pull orders, and regularly lifting 10–25 pounds. You will use warehouse equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, and order pickers, following established safety procedures. The environment emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety standards, with appropriate warehouse attire required for physical work and equipment operation. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Windsor, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
