Job DescriptionJob Title: Mechanical/Electrical AssemblerJob Description This role involves assembling and building mechanical and electrical components using a variety of hand tools and power tools. You will work from blueprints and schematics to produce high-quality assemblies that support the delivery of critical medical products. Responsibilities • Assemble mechanical components using hand tools and power tools according to detailed instructions, blueprints, and schematics., • Assemble electrical components and subassemblies, ensuring proper connections and secure installation., • Interpret and follow blueprints and electrical schematics to build accurate and reliable assemblies., • Inspect assembled components for quality, accuracy, and proper function, and make adjustments as needed., • Maintain a clean and organized work area in alignment with cleanroom and safety standards., • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when using tools, equipment, and materials., • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve assembly issues and improve processes., • Document work as required, including recording any issues or deviations from specifications.Essential Skills, • Hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools for mechanical and electrical assembly., • Mechanical assembly experience, including working with mechanical parts and components., • Electrical assembly experience, including basic understanding of electrical components and connections., • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics., • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work., • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately., • Comfort working in a cleanroom and climate-controlled environment., • Strong focus on safety and adherence to established procedures.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience assembling products in a manufacturing or production environment., • Familiarity with working in a high-tech, clean, and organized facility., • Ability to collaborate effectively with others in a team-oriented setting., • Willingness to learn new tools, processes, and technologies as needed.Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gainesville, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
