Job Description Job Title: Warehouse Receiver / Dock Associate • Pay Rate: $19.00/hr, • Overtime Available, • Performance Raises, • Medical Benefits Package, • Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays and Paid Sick time. Job Description This role focuses on accurately receiving, verifying, and organizing incoming goods in a warehouse environment. You will inspect deliveries, unload trucks, ensure products are stored correctly, and process returns when needed. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to maintaining efficient and accurate receiving processes while promptly resolving any discrepancies. Responsibilities • Receive incoming shipments by matching purchase orders, invoices, and packing lists to ensure accuracy., • Inspect deliveries carefully to confirm they meet order and invoice specifications, including quantities and product condition., • Receive and sign for deliveries, following established warehouse procedures and documentation requirements., • Unload deliveries from trucks safely and efficiently, including lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs., • Process returns for incorrect, damaged, or unsatisfactory items in accordance with company policies., • Organize and store received items in appropriate warehouse locations to support efficient inventory management., • Update inventory records and systems promptly with received items to maintain accurate stock levels., • Use warehouse management systems and related software to record, track, and verify incoming goods., • Maintain accurate records of orders, delivery details, discrepancies, and returns for audit and reporting purposes., • Communicate with vendors or carriers to address delays, discrepancies, or other issues related to deliveries., • Follow warehouse safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe working environment., • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed to support overall operations and workflow. Essential Skills • High school diploma or GED., • Previous warehouse experience., • Ability to lift and move heavy items up to 50 lbs safely., • Strong attention to detail for inspecting deliveries and verifying documentation., • Good communication skills to coordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams., • Good organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries and maintain orderly storage., • Good understanding of warehouse safety regulations and safe material-handling practices., • Physical dexterity to unload trucks, move products, and operate warehouse equipment as required., • Experience using data entry and inventory software programs., • Computer experience using Warehouse Management Systems., • Experience working in a warehouse environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)., • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems., • Experience with Oracle or similar enterprise software., • Knowledge of specialized receiving or inventory software., • Comfort working with various warehouse technologies and computer-based systems. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Philadelphia, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
