This role is responsible for ensuring that physical security policies, procedures, and standards are consistently applied across the organization while protecting employees, contractors, visitors, facilities, and company assets. \n \n The successful candidate will lead compliance initiatives through policy development, security audits, risk assessments, corrective action management, and cross-functional collaboration. This position requires a proactive professional with strong analytical skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and experience in physical security systems, regulatory compliance, and security operations. \n \n Key Responsibilities \n Physical Security Program Management \n\n • Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve physical security policies, procedures, and standards.\n, • Review and update security documentation to align with evolving business requirements, operational changes, and emerging security risks.\n, • Ensure consistent implementation of corporate physical security standards across the organization.\n\n Compliance & Auditing \n\n • Plan and conduct routine physical security audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.\n, • Monitor compliance with company security policies, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.\n, • Document audit findings, identify non-conformances, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.\n, • Track corrective actions through completion and verify the effectiveness of implemented solutions.\n, • Prepare compliance reports, audit summaries, and security performance metrics for leadership.\n\n Risk Assessment & Security Improvement \n\n • Conduct physical security risk assessments and vulnerability analyses for facilities and operations.\n, • Identify security gaps and recommend practical mitigation strategies to reduce organizational risk.\n, • Support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen the organization's overall security posture.\n\n Vendor & Contractor Compliance \n\n • Monitor contractor, vendor, and third-party compliance with physical security policies and contractual security requirements.\n, • Conduct periodic compliance reviews of vendors and service providers.\n, • Coordinate corrective actions with internal stakeholders and external partners to address identified deficiencies.\n\n Investigations & Incident Support \n\n • Support investigations involving physical security incidents, policy violations, and compliance concerns.\n, • Assist in determining root causes and implementing corrective and preventive measures.\n, • Maintain confidential records of investigations, audit findings, and compliance activities.\n\n Cross-Functional Collaboration \n\n • Partner with Facilities, Operations, Human Resources, Information Technology, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Legal, and other business functions to promote physical security compliance.\n, • Provide guidance on security policies, procedures, and best practices.\n, • Promote a culture of security awareness through communication, coaching, and employee education.\n\n Leadership & Team Development \n\n • Supervise assigned security personnel and support daily security operations.\n, • Mentor team members while promoting accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.\n, • Assist the Site Security Manager with departmental initiatives, projects, and operational planning.\n\n \n Required Qualifications \n\n • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in physical security, compliance, auditing, corporate security, or risk management.\n, • Minimum 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience.\n, • Experience developing and maintaining security policies, procedures, and documentation.\n, • Working knowledge of:\n, • Electronic Access Control Systems\n, • CCTV and Video Management Systems\n, • Visitor Management Systems\n, • Physical Security Technologies\n, • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.\n, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.\n, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).\n\n \n Preferred Qualifications \n\n • Professional certifications such as:\n, • Physical Security Professional (PSP)\n, • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)\n, • Certified Protection Professional (CPP)\n, • ASIS International Certifications\n, • Experience supporting manufacturing, electronics, technology, semiconductor, or corporate security operations.\n, • Knowledge of industry standards and compliance frameworks, including:\n, • ISO 27001\n, • ISO 28000\n, • NIST\n, • CTPAT\n, • TAPA\n, • Experience leading security audits, risk assessments, and compliance improvement initiatives.\n\n \n Success Metrics \n
