Qualifications *Required* • Previous competitive swimming and/or coaching experience., • Certification through USA Swimming, • Strong knowledge of competitive swimming techniques, training methodologies, and race strategies., • Excellent communication and leadership skills., • Ability to motivate and inspire athletes of diverse ages and abilities., • Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (or ability to obtain before hire)., • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and competition schedules. Preferred • Experience coaching age-group, senior, or elite swimmers., • Knowledge of athlete development models and performance analysis., • Experience using swim meet management and team communication software. Physical Requirements • Ability to stand on the pool deck for extended periods., • Ability to demonstrate swimming techniques when necessary., • Ability to lift and move coaching equipment up to 25 pounds., • Ability to work in a humid aquatic environment.
