Job Description Pride Health is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator to support our client’s medical facility in Boston, MA 02215. This is a 3+ month contract assignment (Possibility of conversion or extension) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Job Details: • Location: Boston, MA 02215, • Job Type: 3+ months (Possibility of extension or conversion), • Schedule: Monday - Friday 12:30pm - 9pm, • Pay Range: $18-19/hr. on W2 *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials. Job Summary Radiology Support Coordinator/ Patient Care Coordinator to support daily operations within the Imaging Department. This role is responsible for managing patient scheduling, coordinating referrals, verifying insurance, maintaining imaging records, and ensuring a smooth patient experience while supporting radiologists and technologists. Specific Duties: • Schedule and coordinate patient imaging appointments while managing daily patient flow., • Process referrals, verify insurance eligibility, and collect copays/deductibles., • Perform patient check-in/check-out and maintain accurate demographic information., • Monitor referral and scheduling work queues and conduct patient follow-up., • Manage imaging records, image sharing, and maintain data in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems., • Coordinate with providers, technologists, and outside facilities to support patient care., • Process requests for image copies and ensure HIPAA compliance., • Communicate imaging results to referring providers as needed., • Assist with staff training, provide cross-site support, and resolve patient concerns., • Perform general administrative and departmental support duties. Required Qualifications • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED/HiSET/TASC)., • Proficiency with computers, keyboarding, and standard office applications., • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills., • Ability to handle confidential patient information while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Preferred Qualifications • Associate's degree in Medical Assisting, Medical Office Administration, or a related field., • Previous experience in a medical office, radiology, imaging center, or hospital setting., • Experience with patient scheduling, insurance verification, referrals, and cash collections., • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR), PACS, and Radiology Information Systems (RIS)., • Knowledge of CPT and ICD coding is preferred.
