Job Description Job Title: Manufacturing Porter (2nd Shift) Location: Monmouth Junction, NJ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM Assignment Type: Contract 6 months+ Pay Rate: $20.00/hour + $1.50/hour Shift Differential Position Overview We are seeking a Manufacturing Porter to support manufacturing operations by maintaining clean, organized, and compliant production environments. This role is responsible for cleaning designated manufacturing areas, preserving facility upkeep, and ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). Key Responsibilities • Clean and remove trash from various manufacturing locations, including cGMP-regulated areas, • Sweep, clean, and maintain floors and work areas in a neat and orderly condition, • Ensure production areas remain clean and organized at all times, • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste according to established procedures, • Monitor and replenish cleaning and operational supplies as needed, • Transport small equipment, tools, and materials between manufacturing departments, • Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures, • Maintain compliance with SOPs and cGMP requirements Must Haves • Previous porter, janitorial, housekeeping, or related cleaning experience, • Ability to read and interpret safety policies, environmental procedures, operating instructions, and maintenance manuals, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, • Strong adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines, • Fluent English communication skills (verbal and written), • Ability to identify and distinguish colors, • Ability and willingness to work overtime or additional hours as needed, • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Preferred Qualifications • Working knowledge of manufacturing procedures and regulations related to manufacturing operations, • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs/cGMPs), • Experience working with manufacturing SOPs and regulated production environments, • Physical Requirements, • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting, • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment If you are a reliable, hardworking professional with experience maintaining clean and compliant manufacturing facilities, we encourage you to apply.
