Job SummaryWe’re looking to hire a hard-working Manufacturing Janitor who can maintain the cleanliness and safety of our client's buildings. The ideal candidate has a great work ethic, experience with cleaning equipment and supplies, and takes pride in a job well done. Early morning and weekend hours required, mandatory overtime Responsibilities • Performing routine cleaning of manufacturing washroom., • Cleaning, stacking, and wrapping all drums, lids, and skids., • Transporting the above to their designated areas., • Cleaning and sanitizing wall fixtures, windows, and windowsills., • Taking all trash out to the trash compactors., • Restocking and organizing supplies., • Mopping all manufacturing area corridors., • Deliver excellent customer service, • Maintain equipment and supplies in good condition, • Report on any shortages, damages or security issues, • Handle reasonable complaints/requests and inform others when required, • Check stock levels of all supplies, • Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws, • Write reports of areas cleaned Qualifications, • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, • At least 1 year of experience in janitorial services preferred, • Reliable transportation to and from multiple worksites, • Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment, • Ability to work physical work load, • Ability to work independently is a must, • Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic, • Must be a good team player

Job Summary The Academy Charter School custodian will clean and maintain school facility to ensure a safe, secure and comfortable environment conducive to student learning. The custodian will uphold the mission and values established by the school. Responsibilities • Clean classrooms, rest rooms, hallways, multipurpose room, offices and all interior rooms during the day, • Floor care including mopping, stripping and waxing, • Daily trash removal and cleaning of all receptacles, • Set up and cleans dining area before, between, and during breakfast and/or lunch periods, • Respond to emergency cleanups during the day, • Perform routine grounds-keeping duties, including picking up litter, maintenance of sidewalk areas, and salting of sidewalk, • Sets up and arranges furniture for assemblies, meetings and special events, • Secure, protect and ensure the proper usage and maintenance of all custodial equipment, • Assist with shipping and receiving of packages, parcels and large items, • Light moving and carpentry, • Open and close facilities and provide access to classrooms or offices during the normal school week, after hours, and occasionally weekends as directed, • Perform walk through of the facility during the day in order to ensure the building and the outer perimeters are clean and safe; ensure all bathrooms are properly stocked at all times, • Perform other related duties as required and assigned, • Demonstrate knowledge of, and support of the schools mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behaviour Pay Transparency: The hourly range for this role is $16.50/hr. - $21.00/hr. Base pay offered may vary within the posted range based on several factors, including but not limited to education, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
