Job Title: CNC Programmer \n Starting Pay: $75,000-$90,000 \n Location: Palm Bay, FL \n Schedule: M-F 1st Shift \n Direct Hire \n \n Must Have: Experience using CAD/CAM software Siemens NX \n \n Job Overview: The CNC Programmer is responsible for developing, modifying, and maintaining CNC programs, manufacturing drawings, CAD/CAM models, and operation work instructions to support safe, efficient, and compliant production. This role uses CAD/CAM software to generate machine code for CNC equipment and ensures programs, fixtures, tooling, and process documentation meet customer, quality, and internal procedural requirements. \n\n • Responsibilities and Duties Required Apply advanced CNC programming experience to complex, close-tolerance parts using equipment such as mills, lathes, mill-turn machines, EDMs, Prima/Laserdyne fiber laser, Flow waterjet, and automation robots.\n, • Collaborate with Project Engineers and Operations to define the manufacturing plan, confirm work scope, and ensure customer and proposal requirements are clearly understood.\n, • Review, interpret, and create CAD models, blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.\n, • Design workholding fixtures, jigs, and tooling concepts to support the manufacturing process.\n, • Use CAM software to generate, modify, and optimize CNC program code.\n, • Create operation work instruction sheets using CAD/CAM software, models, and internal documentation standards.\n, • Develop efficient manufacturing processes with consideration for safety, cost, quality, delivery, and repeatability.\n, • Determine appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, fixtures, and machining strategies.\n, • Run and verify programs using simulation and verification software prior to release.\n, • Create internal drawings, part models, and supporting documentation as required for manufacturing and work instructions.\n, • Maintain NC Program Control database and required documentation in accordance with Shapes procedures.\n, • Participate in technical discussions with customers, suppliers, Engineering, Quality, and Operations as needed.\n, • Support Engineering Manager assignments and cross-functional manufacturing improvement initiatives.\n, • Follow all applicable AS9100, customer, regulatory, and internal quality system requirements.\n, • Ensure CNC programs, drawings, models, and work instructions are controlled, accurate, and traceable.\n, • Support corrective actions, process improvements, and documentation updates related to programming or manufacturing issues\n, • Perform other duties as assigned.\n, • Qualifications and Skills Required Minimum of 5 years of CNC programming and machining experience in a manufacturing environment.\n, • Experience using CAD/CAM software such as Cenit, Catia, Mastercam, Siemens NX, or equivalent systems.\n, • Proficient with CNC equipment and controllers including Laserdyne, Flow Waterjet, Hurco, Siemens, Mazak, and Mori.\n, • Strong knowledge of machine processes, manufacturing techniques, tooling, materials, GD&T, blueprint interpretation, shop mathematics, and precision measurement devices.\n, • Ability to develop machining processes, production tooling, and workholding solutions for close-tolerance metal components.\n, • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and make sound technical decisions in a fast-paced production environment.\n, • Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively across departments and with shop personnel.\n, • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.\n, • Ability to travel throughout the manufacturing facility and perform work in accordance with established safety procedures.\n, • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.\n\n Benefits \n\n • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) with company match.\n, • Paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, and other leave programs.\n, • Opportunities for professional development, training, and certification support.\n\n
