I am pleased to be working with a market-leading, Bolton-based client who are looking to add to their well-established team. They are looking for an attentive and proactive Technical Sales Coordinator to join their operation on a full-time, permanent basis. \n Role Purpose \n This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, delivering excellent service, and supporting business growth within a busy multi-depot environment, working with National and B2B customers. \n As the first point of contact for customers, you will play a key role in handling enquiries, processing orders, preparing quotations, and supporting both new and existing accounts. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, suppliers, and account managers to ensure a seamless customer experience while contributing to sales growth and profitability \n\n • Salary ranges from £26,000 to £28,500\n, • Mon-Fri 08:30-17:00\n, • 32 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays\n, • Option to buy additional holidays\n, • Healthcare plan\n, • Progression and development opportunities\n, • Join a supportive, practical depot environment\n, • Hands-on, varied role with plenty of customer interaction\n, • Work closely with a friendly team across sales, operations, and workshop functions\n\n Day-to-Day of the Role \n\n • Respond to customer enquiries via telephone, email, and web platforms in a professional and timely manner\n, • Manage customer requests, quotations, purchase orders, and sales enquiries through to completion\n, • Build strong working relationships with National Accounts, Key Trading Accounts, and new customers\n, • Support the onboarding and adoption of B2B trade portal platforms\n, • Identify upselling opportunities and promote new products where appropriate\n, • Use CRM and Orderwise systems to accurately manage quotes, orders, and customer information\n, • Follow up quotations and record outcomes and lost sales reasons\n, • Process returns and credits in line with company procedures\n, • Liaise with suppliers regarding products, pricing, and parts enquiries\n, • Deliver excellent customer service and resolve or escalate complaints where necessary\n, • Maintain compliance with GDPR, Health & Safety, and company procedures\n, • Continuously develop product knowledge and systems understanding through training\n\n Specification \n\n • Previous experience in a customer service, sales support, or internal sales role (ideally within plant hire, construction, or groundcare sectors)\n, • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal\n, • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively\n, • A positive and professional approach to customer relationships\n, • Good IT skills and confidence using digital platforms and CRM systems\n, • Commercial awareness with the ability to identify sales opportunities\n, • A team player with strong attention to detail\n, • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment\n\n If this opportunity sounds like the right fit for you, and you meet the criteria above, we encourage you to apply today!
